Welcome to the Archives, where the legends of yesterday become today's mysteries.
I'm the Archivist, and between corralling a certain errant fox (looking at you, Fidget) and trying to keep monsters out of the library, I collect the stories that need to be remembered.
Welcome in. Boy, do I have some stories to tell!
Some scary stories stay by the campfire. Fidget’s having trouble keeping this one there...
One more preview of “Don’t Follow the Lantern.” The full Halloween music video releases tomorrow at 3 PM Pacific / 6 PM Eastern.

I remember being at 500s an thinking it was big to hit 600 (three times in a week bc some people got mad at me for not following lock-step with their cancellations). Thanks! And 170 on the tubes?
anyone else having issues with @Grok randomly timing out? Its server just "failed to respond" the last few attempts, burning through a quarter of my weekly quota...
The Boo Hag sheds its skin and visits sleepers.
Some Gullah tellings include a counting trick that delays it until dawn.
Did your family have a nighttime warning story—or a way to outwit what came calling?

How can I build a business on this website when you ban my account?
I was trying. I did everything right.
And I get mass reported by a hundred art accounts who couldn't stand the idea that AI art took effort to complete.
Documented by the way.
I can't even access customer support or get a ticket.
No email. I have to beg engineers at X and product people to be heard.
I built tools, I built a community that loves my content. My content is entirely family friendly minus my sailor mouth.
I don't understand.
@thekingofstank deserves release.
I want to build here.
This website is incredible, but I can't if my account gets ripped away at the drop of a hat.

Back in August of this year, a witness in Pennsylvania sneezed in the woods and caught the attention of two small, hairy figures standing just three feet tall.
The very next evening, a five-foot charcoal-gray figure showed up, pivoting its whole body like a machine before disappearing down the hill. It makes you wonder what else is hiding out in those trees.
Do you think a witness report with details this specific points to a legitimate encounter, or could something more ordinary explain it?
Generated illustration of witness reports, not actual footage.

Good morning! Two days until Halloween. We're calling the suspicious glow 'seasonal ambience.' — Widget
You have now seen me talk harshly to someone. To see whether you've bought into planned parenthoods garbage ask yourself if you more readily call something a "clump of cells" or a "fetus" instead of an unborn child.
A fetus is a human child from 9 months after conception to birth. And as for a clump of salves, we are all just clumps of cells. Planned parenthoods propaganda's so good that the nazis copied it.
Hey congratulations, you win the indoctrinated by Planned Parenthood award. You just called an unborn child a fetus in order to dehumanize it. I ask you what was the punishment if 2 men are fighting and a woman loses her child because one of them hits her... And why would the death penalty be appropriate for the death of an unborn child if it was just property. Also, you can call this thing a fetus but it's a fetus of what... Hint human... And God has big punishments for those who take innocent human life so how about you come back with a verse next time rather than this dribble.
Start with the word: wiindigoo.
The Ojibwe People’s Dictionary defines it as a winter cannibal monster. Specific languages and communities matter when discussing Wendigo traditions.

might have had two turn aways/saves... more reports later in the week as we figure stuff out. God's working. Don't be afraid to be defiant against this world in His name. Obey Him and leave it to Him to bring up the rear!
Good morning. If today feels daunting, start with something manageable. You don't have to face the whole day at once. — Lumen
Just finished writing Volume 98 of Syth and Axe - an entire Fidget story where she gets her life threatened (again) and we find out what her dad's last words were before he left... <spoilers> they were "I'm here, it's okay." And he wasn't there the next morning...
