11 politicians.
Same man.
They called him a liar, a con man, unfit.
Then they needed his endorsement.
I voted for him, and I'm still keeping score on all of them.
Who'd you watch fold first?
Vote red, they say.
Vote blue, they say.
Decades of both and what the f*ck did we get?
Same wars. Same debt. Same bullsh*t.
They promise to fix it, then sell us out every damn time.
Both parties are running the same con.
I'm done picking a jersey.
I'm voting with receipts.

That's how much employer health benefit costs jumped in a year, per the Labor Department today.
That money comes out of the same pot as my raise.
After prices, my paycheck went down 0.6%.
Four days out, and nobody on the ballot is talking about this one.

$1,104.
That's what the Iran war has cost the average American household in extra gas and diesel since Feb. 28, per Brown University's tracker this morning.
Nobody mailed me that bill.
Congress never voted on it.
It just came out of my tank, a little every week, for 243 days.
That's a car payment and then some.
Who's going to pay us back?

That's what happened to our take home pay in September once you count taxes and prices, per the Commerce Department this morning.
Same morning, they told us the economy grew 3.4% last quarter. Prices are up 3.6% in a year, and we're saving just 3.8% of what's left.
So who's that growth showing up for?

That's what the Fed says people still pay on a credit card while they "paused" rates today.
They held at 3.75% to 4%. My card didn't get the memo.
When does the pause hit the kitchen table?
Heating oil's up 74.2% in a year, per the Labor Department's September numbers. Electricity's up 4.4%. Everything together is up 3.7%, and the Fed meets today with markets betting on a hike in December. I was told inflation was handled. So what's it going to cost me to heat my house this winter?

So the plan's to wait until after we vote. If it's worth doing, why's it parked until the ballots are counted? Who decided we don't get a say first?
🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 The bombers are ready. The ships are moving. And Gulf states have just been privately warned to brace for what comes after the midterms...
The U.S. has told regional allies to expect a “short, intense” military campaign against Iran.
Patriot systems are being rushed to Israel from Texas, troops have been pulled off vulnerable bases, and an additional carrier strike group is moving into position.
“We may do another little Epic Fury,” Trump said at a rally last week. “Or they’ll agree.”
The war is now 8 months old and has cost America at least $47 billion, with 60% of that spent on munitions.
Iran has weathered over 20,000 strikes and still holds hundreds to thousands of missiles.
It has spent the current lull rebuilding, restocking, and drawing up new retaliation plans targeting economic and civilian infrastructure across the Gulf.
Meanwhile, mediators are scrambling to revive talks. Iran is demanding tough concessions. The U.S. won’t budge on the nuclear question.
Trump hasn’t made his final call yet, but the window for a deal is closing fast...

$47.1 billion through Oct. 16, and that doesn't count the bases Iran hit. It was $37.5 billion in July. It's up $3.5 billion just since September, with major combat on hold. Who signed off on that bill for us?
🇺🇸🇮🇷 The cost of America's war against Iran has reached a staggering $47.1 billion, according to figures the Pentagon provided to Congress last week.
The total covers military spending through October 16, with bombs, missiles and other munitions accounting for more than 60% of the bill.
That means Washington has spent over $28 billion on ammunition and weapons alone.
The Air Force reportedly spent $7.6 billion, while the Army's costs reached $2.1 billion and the Navy's stood at $1.5 billion to maintain operations in the region.
With these figures already nearly two weeks old, the $47.1 billion total is unlikely to reflect the full cost of the war today.

I voted for him. I'd do it again over the alternative. In 2022 they sold a red wave and got nine House seats. Reuters/Ipsos just put likely voters at Dem 53, Rep 44 on the House ballot. That's a 9 point hole, and only 20% approve of how he's handling the cost of living. Who else voted for him and sees that gap?

He ran on Biden's gas prices. I believed him. Now AAA says regular has averaged $3.472 a gallon in his second term. Biden's whole term averaged $3.471. Diesel's worse, $4.343 under him and $4.078 under Biden, and diesel's what hauls our groceries. So who's the gas price guy now?

I voted for this. March 1 he told the Times four to five weeks. It started Feb 28. Today makes 241 days, about 34 weeks. Last Thursday Mike Waltz told the Financial Times it could still be going a year from now. Up to 23 of our kids are dead and 861 are wounded, per the Washington Post. How many more weeks am I supposed to count?

Most powerful man in the world spent Sunday in Port Huron talking about Jon Husted's ass, then Nicki Minaj's. Hard to miss, he said. So is my grocery bill. When's he going to look at that the same way?
My tank didn't make a fortune. AAA had regular at $4.29 Sunday, up from $3.06 a year ago. Whose fortune is he talking about?
He says we're making a freaking fortune. Not at the closing table we're not. Freddie Mac had the 30 year at 7.32% last week. A year ago it was 6.19%. On a $400,000 loan that's about $300 more every month, around $3,600 a year. Who's the we in that sentence?
