At Volksparkstadion, home of Hamburger SV, our partner Peiffer began laying the turf in the morning, and hybrid stitching was underway by the afternoon.

๐ฃLess downtime between events and flexibility in the calendar
๐ฃThe option to replace struggling pitches mid-season
๐ฃDeeper fibre reinforcement than hybrid carpet systems, for a stronger bond with the rootzone
Thank you to Peiffer for the collaboration and another excellent project delivered.

Sport Ireland's pitches were reaching end of life, so we replaced the infill system with organic infill, ahead of the EU's 2031 ban on polymeric infill.
With heavy commercial use, the pitches needed a durable surface. We installed our SIS GRASS Synthetic dual-fibre system, which combines monofilament and fibrillated yarns.
