Stephen is finally back in America with his loved ones after enduring four years of unjust detention. Our nation celebrates his return and offers him our prayers as he begins this next chapter of his life. Because of President Trump's leadership, more than 100 Americans have been freed from captivity and returned home.
The Trump Administration will always work tirelessly to secure the release of Americans unjustly detained abroad and will continue its campaign to free those who are still wrongfully detained.
Many of the things we take for granted here in the United States come from a shared history that we need to rediscover and embrace.

This is inaccurate. The U.S. Department of State issued an ordered departure for non-emergency U.S. government employees and their family members in Saudi Arabia only.
Iranian-supported Houthis have increasingly engaged in hostilities against Saudi Arabia, including attacks on civilian airports and other critical infrastructure resulting in civilian casualties and severe travel disruptions.
The safety and security of Department personnel and their families remain our highest priority, and we will continue to take all necessary steps to protect and support them.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivers a blunt message about America's role in Ukraine's survival, saying Washington will no longer be defensive about the billions of dollars in assistance provided to the war-torn country.
Rubio praises Ukrainian fighters for their extraordinary bravery against a much larger military but insists U.S. support has been critical to keeping Ukraine a sovereign nation.
