Call me crazy...
But maybe the fact that 3 MILLION people in Paraguay just had their salaries, pensions, and savings frozen...
...while every American news network spent the last 48 hours hyper-focused on election night...
is not a coincidence.
Ueno Bank.
60% of all adults in the country.
Accounts locked.
App dead.
Branches guarded by police.
Central bank stepped in after the solvency ratio cratered below half the legal minimum.
State pension funds exposed for hundreds of millions.
Depositors locked out overnight.
And almost nobody in U.S. media is talking about it.
Because election coverage is easier.
And infinitely more convenient.
Video shows opposition figure Paraguayo “Payo” Cubas being grabbed, booed, and dragged away by demonstrators during protests over the Ueno Bank collapse that froze millions of accounts.
Gavin Newsom commutes 548 sentences, including child kiIIers, and the media is silent about it.
In case you're wondering what his priorities are.
Replying to @Kentuckygirl1
No exact official count exists for the current 548. A 2016 analysis of California’s larger death row (~750 inmates) found they had collectively murdered over 1,000 victims, including 226 children. The present group includes many of those same cases plus later convictions, so the combined total is likely several hundred to over 1,000.
🚨 Nearly HALF of American women ages 25–44 are projected to be single by 2030.
45%, up from 41% in 2018. Highest ever.
The media calls it freedom.
They skip that married moms report higher happiness and lower loneliness, while fertility keeps collapsing.
More shopping. Fewer families.
Is this really the win?
🚨 A kid hopped into a $80k+ Mercedes van at the Paris Motor Show, started it, threw it in reverse, and slammed it into the wall.
No injuries. Minor damage. Mercedes is “investigating.”
The parents should be on the hook for every dollar of repairs.
You don’t let unsupervised kids climb into multi-thousand-dollar vehicles and treat them like toys.
That’s not an accident. That’s failed parenting.
