Soji Maurice-Diya is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NatCom Development & Investment Limited, trading as ntel, the privatised successor to Nigeria's legacy national carrier. Appointed in July 2025, he is leading ntel's return to the market as a digital-first, infrastructure-light mobile virtual network operator focused on innovation and inclusion.
He brings over 20 years of international experience across telecommunications, infrastructure, logistics and technology. Before ntel, he was CEO of American Tower Nigeria (ATC), where he previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Commercial Director, and he has held senior roles at Etisalat, ExxonMobil, IBM and EY.
He holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics (summa cum laude) from Saint Louis University, a Master's in Architecture from the University of Florida, and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Yale School of Management.

Last year, I went to Moonshot just to see what it was about. It was my first time, and between the sessions and everything going on, there was a lot to take in. But the real win was the new business relationships I built, which have helped Tees & Co this year.
An investor friend of mine got me into the investor's room, even though I only had a regular pass (lol). I wasn't looking to raise, but he told me, "Temi, speak to them. These relationships will be useful later." He was right. He had also introduced me to a few VCs before that. And the mixers? They helped me strengthen the business relationships I already had because we could talk more.
I went to observe, and I left with far more than I expected.
This year, I'm not coming for sightseeing. I'm coming to talk more, learn more, build more relationships, and see my friends (haha).
