Member States have to agree on new own resources for the next EU long-term budget. The period 2028-2034 is crucial and will determine whether or not our Union can tackle current and future challenges. It would be impossible without this fresh money.

We strongly condemn the recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The UN arms embargo must be enforced, and Houthi leaders and their security apparatus must be added to the EU terrorist list.
Yemenis need full humanitarian access and a Yemeni-led path to peace. Enough of crisis-by-crisis reactions. The Commission must deliver its Middle East Strategy now, with Parliament fully involved, to drive a coherent and decisive European response.
