We plan to launch hATOM, a 0% fee LST for ATOM built on the @cosmoshub, in collaboration with @moonkitt_lab.
The existence of a strong & secure ATOM LST is critical for Hydro, as it allows ATOM to be deployed into DeFi protocols without giving up the underlying staking yield. Following Stride’s recent announcement about winding down stATOM, we’ve decided to build our own.
The LST will be deeply integrated into Hydro’s ATOM Inflow vault. The goal is for users to be able to move between native ATOM, hATOM, and vault tokens through a single interface, while Hydro manages staking, liquidity, and deployment in the background.

Cycles Pay is now officially running on @arc mainnet.
This is the first application built on top of the Cycles protocol, a privacy-preserving clearing algorithm that finds loops of mutual debt and settles them without altering what each party is owed on net.
Try it today at pay.cycles.money/
We already have a web app and a mobile app, and we’ve already added support for both businesses and individuals.
Perhaps more importantly, it has a combination of features no one else in the industry has built yet: private stablecoin payments, earn vaults, invoicing, expense splitting and AI assistants.
And we’re working on adding invoice financing, credit scores, balance lending, and rotating savings groups with the ultimate goal of becoming the first on-chain credit bureau to deliver credit scores based on real payment history and active payment obligations.
@arc is the foundation. We chose it because it is designed for payments with USDC as gas, sub-second finality, and reliable global infrastructure.

Hydro is finally home on the Hub. The Hub team was great in supporting us during the migration, enabling some extra CW features to make the migration extra easy for us!
Hydro has been successfully migrated to the @cosmoshub ⚛️ Both the Inflow vaults and the ATOM auction infrastructure are now running on the Hub, and you can use them today with your Hub wallet.
With permissionless CosmWasm now enabled and @cosmoslabs_io supporting the Hub’s continued development, it was time for Hydro to come home.
Since launch, Hydro auctions have received over 100 bids from 20+ protocols, and we’re still deploying liquidity to @osmosiszone, @stride_zone, @neptune_finance, @HelixMarkets, and @oroswap
Hydro’s Inflow vaults accept ATOM, BTC, and USDC, and route them into the best available DeFi strategies across chains, rebalancing as opportunities shift. There are multiple risk levels for each vault to suit everyone’s risk appetite (the higher the risk, the higher the APY).

Following the v27.0.0 upgrade, @hydromarkets has migrated to the Cosmos Hub!
Hydro is accepting ATOM deposits in its yield-bearing inflow vaults, now executable directly from your ATOM balance on the Hub.

Enough is enough.
@axelar there are $700k of hacked funds STILL SITTING on Axelar from the exploit on Secret.
There are multiple examples in history of DAOs seizing hacked assets to help remediation.
Your refusal to protect users is disgusting.

We’ll have a @hydromarkets USDC vault outpost on Arc. And since we’re migrating the core vaults to @cosmoshub, we’ll be able to use the Hydro vault tokens from the Cycles Pay savings account as cross-chain payment rails between Arc and the Hub. Users will be able to deposit on Arc and redeem on the Hub and vice-versa without any extra bridge step and with the underlying USDC earning yield all the way through.
That means people won’t have to withdraw ahead of time and have their funds sit in a zero-yield wallet while waiting to pay bills. And of course, since Cycles Pay uses ZK proofs, the whole thing happens privately from the phone.

Welcome home @hydromarkets!
Hydro is coming to the Cosmos Hub! The migration is underway, and will be completed throughout the months of June and July.

Cycles Pay is the first app that lets users send invoices and get paid in stablecoins privately.

Congrats @cyclesmoney ! Hydro is now fully integrated into their awesome private payments app and all individual & business users have access to saving accounts powered by Hydro. As they continue building the clearing infra, we'll ensure the funds remain productive
When we started working with the Cycles team, I thought it was going to take years to build a useful product (clearing requires big time network effects)
Turns out, 3 months later, they've shipped the first private business app (with saving accounts, powered by @hydromarkets's magic)

I’ve made it my mission to make clearing accessible to all. Cycles is motivated by the realization (after years of study of the history and nature of monetary systems) that clearing is a great super power from which everyone is systematically excluded. I plan to change that, and this fundraising is the first major step.
For years I’ve been frustrated by the state of thinking about money in our industry, and beyond. Austrian economics is not a sufficient basis on which to build the next generation of money. Neither is MMT, or virtually any other monetary theory. What’s missing is a vision of money firmly rooted in the network of balance sheets that constitute the economy. The graph of obligations that makes the world go round. Respect the Graph.
It’s no secret that the current monetary order is incoherent, that the Bretton Woods agreement was fundamentally flawed, and that something new must lie on the horizon. But what? We need only turn back to the Bretton Woods conference itself, to the other proposal on the table, to build a multilateral clearing union to balance the international trade graph grounded in a new unit of account, the bancor.
Cycles mission is to go bottom up where the bancor failed to go top down. Clearing is about doing more with less, about reducing how much money is actually needed to make settlements, about unlocking hidden sources of liquidity and opening new opportunities for growth. That honours the network of obligations in the world. And most importantly, that Respects the Graph!
I’m pumped to be building Cycles with a great team and backed by great investors. We’ve got a long road ahead to bring clearing to everyone and reformulate the global monetary order. Stay tuned

We’ve raised $8.7M to bring clearing to the masses. Our new round was led by Blockchange to work on the most powerful idea in finance.
It’s not just about moving money faster & cheaper; it’s about moving less while doing more.

We've been eating our own dog food with @cyclesmoney! And it's actually been pretty delicious so far.

My favorite Magma vault
100% ATOM exposure
Inflation-resistant
Double-digit organic APR
What else can you ask from life ?
Not very popular strategy right now. But yet the safest $ATOM strategy on the market
Bonding two LST assets together, which in theory should always grow in value together. While every time where they depeg creates yield opportunity
LST atom yield at 15% + additional swap yield
With Vortex, protocols get to use Hydro to bid on $ATOM to pair it with their token, as long as they pay for the IL.
Combine this with Hydro’s upcoming integration with @magmavaults for efficient liquidity management, and ATOM is well on its way to become the primary pair for Cosmos assets again
The Hydro committee has had to sign 188 deployment proposals so far - @RoboMcGobo and @JohnnyWyles87 barely had time to tweet anymore. With Stream, they can finally get back to it
Skip is already making all the big, bold & controversial moves that we hoped they would to make liquidity flow and the ecosystem thrive. What a time to be an $ATOM staker
Replying to @jackzampolin @NashQueue
Hmmm, maybe I guess you’ll just have to see?
Our thesis is that:
1. We need to monetize IBC in some capacity to be able to develop and support it long term
2. We have tried sourcing donations, but this hasn’t worked yet (maybe it will when there are bigger winners?)
3. Roughly the open core model developed in web 2 seems like a good approach. we’ll keep IBC open, we will support users deploying their own IBC connections etc… We will also build an infra platform around it to provide a proper product experience around it.
I’m extremely open to other ideas!
