Gm, over the last few days we've (the boys and I - in discord and x chat) been testing out the new version of $ DERP Mining on the new, rebranded, rebuild, and thoroughly upgraded site derp.works @derp_works (blue check won't let me edit the X account yet), If you want to join in with the bugs, testing, and features and suggestions - please feel free. -- There's a snazzy walkthrough to get you started, some free mining credits and you get to mine some totally worthless fderp (fake derp), Thanks derp DERP, -- Oh, and it's totally gasless now Oh oh, and all of the txn volume and records lane on @ApeChainHUB - with 2000+ ledger writes to ApeChain so far Oh oh oh, and there's now a conductor on ApeChain, and RH, and soon Base, and Eth, and... If you know any project that needs RNG on any chain - holla at ya boy. Oh oh oh oh, and the RNG is now Cheaper, Faster, and More secured - practically VRF grade. Ohhhhhhhh, and every single mining session 'should' (when we go live with real DERP) - be profitable at Merchant prices (still working on some economics but yeah... literally free money). Ohhhhhhh oh, and you can use @minepitderp Boys on any Chain they live on - Ape as MineBoys, RH as PitBoys... and... Oh you can also mine WAYYY MORE boys per Machine, with Pooled CPU mining or GPU accelerated Mining a an iphone can now handle like 700 boys in 1 browser tab.

Alright, gn That's enough cooking for today, Fully procedurally generated Goobaloo Avatars, with traits, all a single mesh in Otherside, no duplicate rigs, customisable, tuneable, tweakable - Spent the afternoon teaching it how to make cool stylised hair, Got it to build all of the traits, some will need a second or third version to nail them in, All running in browser, via @threejs no blender no 3d modelling, no tripo or meshy etc. All tested and optimised to be Otherside ready - from the tri count to the mml generation to using sockets for equippables, You're not Ready unless you're a Ready Player @readyplayergld - You'll be able to choose Voxel or Smooth for Goobaloos and Ready Players, see previous post for crafting and equipping. I'm Ready! @imjameshall I saw you thwacking some petrified logs the other day in Nexus and Chill; with what looked like a nice pointy stick - we're ready with our own pointy sticks! Let us hit stuff and collect thing - otherwise Goobaloos and @readyplayergld Player are coming to hit you in the shins! (Big Goobs might just eat you entirely) Check out the wearables on avatar.readyplayer.app, New Voxel RPG Avatars, Legacy NPC Avatars, Goobaloo Voxel avatars with customisability, and Nft gated wearables - dripaxe, pickhammer, blue steel, and the dripsword can all be worn on the back of your Avatar or Wielded in the hand, Also... are there any Docs on Sockets yet? Is Sockets how actual wearables will work - I've integrated it as best I understand from the Docs... but...? Smoothaloos coming later today, Smooth Players in progress stay tuned.

I also gave @derp_works a makeover last night, we solved a few more bugs and we're almost ready to get back to Mining! New textures and styles for the Carbon and Composite light modes. If you haven't been over to derp.works yet, give it a whirl - mining is active but only for fDERP (fake derp), whilst I iron out all the final little bugs!

My Avatar Studio isn't just for Voxel Characters, it can procedurally build and rig 'smooth' models too, from a single mesh, I've spent an ungodly amount of time and tokens building and curating a ridiculous amount of skills and docs in my Avatar Studio so that I can give it an image and off it goes - these aren't meshy or tripo 'slop' thpe avatars - they're optimised for Otherside, with customisable bodies, procedural clothing, traits, equippables, etc. I can make his belly fatter, his fingers longer, his nose wider, bigger hand bigger feet - all with sliders in the studio. I long ago learnt that it's best to get the ai to build you the tool you need rather than getting it to hit everything blindly with a hammer untill you stumble on the right bit. As the old saying goes: Prompt a fish and you can have a fish for a day, teach an Ai to build a procedurally-generated-instanced-mesh-with-wireframe-tri-selection-auto-rigging-and-weighting-with-granular-tunability and you can have as many damn fish as you like. This isn't a fish, it's a Goobaloo - and soon you'll be able to choose from a Voxel or Meshed version at avatar.readyplayer.app and wear them in @OthersideMeta and yes, in both version they wear socks. - P.s I do have a procedural fish generator so maybe I drop a fishing game at some point - P.p.s look at his little butt 😂😂😂

Testing out the Goobaloo in Otherside last night - and testing how fast the Customisability from avatar.readyplayer.app updates to Otherside. I thought it'd be funny for the Goobaloos to have socks instead of shoes - I wrote a short story about a Goblin who lives in a Mine and collects odd socks for my son, so this is a fun callback to that. And also @dongsockswtf is a Gob legend, and 'tHe SoCk StAyS oN'! Odd socks of course for Goobaloos, All ReadyPlayer and Goobaloo avatars have the option to wear different underwear - especially the iconic 'heart boxers' from Dungeon Crawler Carl!
