🚨 THE AI BOOM: Are investors buying the future—or financing a bubble? Meta is reportedly raising up to $97.5B, with Nvidia and AMD participating in the financing. Meanwhile, AI infrastructure spending is growing rapidly. But here's the question investors should ask: Where will the profits come from? A booming industry doesn't guarantee booming returns for every investor. Before buying an AI stock, examine 5 things: 1️⃣ Fundamentals: Is revenue growing, and are earnings following? 2️⃣ Quality: Does the company have a durable competitive advantage? 3️⃣ Valuation: Is the stock price justified by realistic future cash flows? 4️⃣ Cash flow: Can the business fund its ambitions without excessive borrowing or constant capital raises? 5️⃣ Momentum: Is market enthusiasm running ahead of business performance? Here's the risk: companies can invest billions in AI, yet shareholders may earn disappointing returns if the spending fails to generate sufficient profits. And remember, Nvidia and AMD investing in the AI ecosystem doesn't automatically prove that every investment in that ecosystem will succeed. My verdict: WAIT before chasing AI hype. Not because AI is doomed, but because opportunity and overvaluation can exist at the same time. The real winners will be identified by sustainable earnings, strong cash flows and sensible valuations—not headlines alone. 💬 Your turn: Is the AI trade a bubble, a long-term opportunity, or both? 🚨 ALPHABET DROPPED OVER 10%. DOES THAT MAKE IT A BARGAIN? Not necessarily. Benzinga’s October 29 market snapshot showed Alphabet’s shares among the biggest losers, with GOOGL down 10.84% and GOOG down 10.62%. Meanwhile, several companies reported earnings that beat analysts’ expectations. Here’s what investors need to understand: 📌 1. Good results don’t guarantee a rising share price. Markets react to expectations, future guidance, profitability and what investors believe a business is worth. 📌 2. A falling price doesn’t automatically mean a stock is cheap. A 10% decline can create an opportunity—or expose an overpriced stock whose growth expectations were unrealistic. 📌 3. Revenue growth is only one piece of the puzzle. Examine earnings quality, free cash flow, debt, competitive advantage and the company’s ability to turn investment into sustainable returns. 📌 4. Separate the business from the market reaction. Ask: Has the investment thesis weakened, or has the market simply repriced expectations? 🔎 Apply UZEE’s FQVDM framework: • Fundamentals: Are earnings and cash flow healthy? • Quality: Can the business sustain its advantage? • Valuation: Is the current price justified? • Dividend: Are shareholder payouts sustainable? • Momentum: What does the price trend indicate? The goal isn’t to buy the biggest loser. It’s to identify a quality business trading at a price that makes sense. 💬 If a stock falls 10% after earnings, what do you investigate first: valuation, financial results or management’s outlook? 📊 THE NGX IS GROWING. BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN EVERY STOCK IS A BUY. Here’s what Nigerian and global investors should learn from today’s market headlines. 🇳🇬 1. NGX Group’s profits are rising NGX Group reported ₦20.6bn profit before tax for the first nine months of 2026, up 83.3% year-on-year. Profit after tax climbed 86.4% to ₦14.7bn. Transaction fees more than doubled to ₦20.7bn. That signals stronger market activity. But investors must still examine costs, earnings quality and valuation before drawing conclusions about any stock. 📉 2. A market decline isn’t automatically a buying opportunity The newsletter reports that the NGX All-Share Index fell 0.44%, wiping approximately ₦719bn off market capitalisation. A falling market can create opportunities—but only when price, business quality and risk justify buying. 🌍 3. Global shocks can reach your pocket The World Bank projects global commodity prices will rise 23% in 2026, with energy prices forecast to increase 32%. Higher energy and food costs can put pressure on inflation, businesses and household budgets. 🇺🇸 4. AI excitement must meet financial reality Heavy AI investment does not guarantee attractive shareholder returns. Investors should examine capital expenditure, free cash flow, profitability and the price they are paying for future growth. 🔎 The UZEE approach: FQVDM • Fundamentals — Are earnings and cash flow healthy? • Quality — Is the business built to last? • Valuation — Is the price reasonable? • Dividend — Are payouts sustainable? • Momentum — What is the market trend telling us? The lesson: Don’t buy a headline. Understand the business, value the stock and measure the risk. 💬 When the market falls, what do you check first: fundamentals, valuation or price momentum? 🚨 AI STOCKS ARE FACING A BIG QUESTION: WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING? Alphabet’s latest results remind investors of an important lesson: A company can grow rapidly and still disappoint the market. Its Q3 2026 revenue rose 25% year-on-year to $127.6 billion. Google Cloud revenue more than doubled. Yet its shares fell sharply after earnings missed expectations and concerns about AI spending intensified. Here’s what smart investors should examine before buying the dip: 🔎 F — Fundamentals: Is revenue growth translating into sustainable profits? 🏆 Q — Quality: Does the company have a durable competitive advantage? 💰 V — Valuation: Does today’s share price already assume years of future growth? 💵 D — Dividend: Can the business fund shareholder returns responsibly? 📈 M — Momentum: Is the price action confirming the investment thesis—or warning of changing sentiment? The real question isn’t simply, “Is AI the future?” It’s this: Will the money invested in AI generate returns that justify the cost? Don’t confuse a powerful technology with an attractive stock price. At UZEE, we look beyond headlines and examine the business, cash flow, valuation and risks. 💬 What matters more when evaluating an AI stock: growth, profitability or valuation? 🚨 A STOCK BEATS EARNINGS EXPECTATIONS. SHOULD YOU BUY IT? Not so fast. Stocks Telegraph’s earnings roundup highlights companies reporting better-than-expected results and others missing forecasts. But here's what many investors overlook: An earnings beat is not automatically a BUY signal. Consider 3 lessons from earnings season: 📈 1. Projections aren't performance. A company can beat analysts' estimates and still have weak fundamentals. Examine revenue growth, profit margins, debt and cash flow. 📊 2. A big earnings surprise can mislead you. A company reporting $0.10 EPS against an estimate of $0.01 has a 900% positive surprise. Impressive percentage? Yes. But the actual profit is still just $0.10 per share. Context matters. 💰 3. A great business can be an overpriced stock. Even strong results may disappoint investors if the market expected something better. Before buying, ask: • Is earnings growth sustainable? • Is cash flow supporting reported profits? • Is the balance sheet healthy? • Is the valuation reasonable? • What could invalidate the investment thesis? At UZEE, we use FQVDM: Fundamentals. Quality. Valuation. Dividend. Momentum. My verdict: WAIT before reacting to earnings headlines. Analyse the numbers first. The goal isn't to buy every winner. It's to identify businesses worth owning at sensible prices. 💬 What's your first check after an earnings report: EPS, revenue, cash flow or valuation? Fundamentals First. Court Orders Uzodinma to Stop Parading Himself as APC Candidate, Recognizes Former Governor Rochas Okorocha for Imo West Senatorial District Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday ordered Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma to immediately stop presenting himself as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Imo West Senatorial District election scheduled for January 16, 2027. Delivering judgment, the court held that Uzodinma did not win the May 18, 2026 APC primary election, which was conducted by the party and monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The judge said that evidence before the court showed that former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha secured the majority of votes cast and should be declared the winner. The judge subsequently ordered the APC to forward Okorocha’s name as its candidate for the 2027 general elections in the Imo West Senatorial District.

Most people don't lose money in the stock market because they picked the wrong stock. They lose it because they never learned how to tell a good business from a loud one. That's fixable. And it's the same skill on the NGX and on Wall Street. Here's what changes when you learn to analyse a stock yourself: ✅ You stop reacting to tips and start asking questions. ✅ You can read a result and see past the headline. Is profit growing faster than EPS? Is the price running ahead of earnings? Is the dividend paid, or only promised? ✅ You know what a business is worth before you decide what to pay for it. ✅ You can compare Nigerian and US stocks on the same terms: Fundamentals, Quality, Valuation, Dividend, Momentum. That's the UZEE FQVDM framework. It teaches you what to buy. Then the crash framework teaches you when the risk/reward becomes attractive. Nobody can promise you returns, and we won't. What we can do is teach you to look before you leap. Before you ask "Should I buy this stock?", ask better questions. Here's how we analyse any company. It takes 5 steps, and none of them is "check the price chart." F — Fundamentals: is the business growing? • Revenue and profit trend over several years, not one quarter • EPS, not just profit. Did the share count change? • Operating cash flow. Is profit turning into cash? • Debt. Can the company carry it? Q — Quality: is the growth good growth? • ROE or ROIC. Does it earn well on the money it uses? • Margins. Pricing power, or a one-off? • Is the profit recurring, or driven by one-off gains? • Competitive position. What protects this business? V — Valuation: what is the price already assuming? • P/E, P/B and earnings yield, compared with the company's own history and its sector • Price vs earnings growth. If the price has run far ahead of EPS, expectations are high. D — Dividend: is the payout real and sustainable? • Paid, or only promised? • Covered by cash flow, not just by earnings? • Does the payout leave room to grow the business? M — Momentum: what is the market doing? • Trend, volume and recent news • Momentum doesn't make a company good. It tells you what sentiment is doing. Then one more step that most investors skip. The crash framework: is this the right price? FQVDM tells you whether a business is worth owning. The crash framework asks whether the price has reset enough to make the risk/reward attractive. A great company at a stretched price can still be a poor entry. Finally, we write down three things: 1️⃣ Rate the business first and the price second. 2️⃣ Write down the reason for every rating. 3️⃣ Re-rate after every earnings release. That gives five possible verdicts: Strong Buy, Buy, Hold (for owners), Wait (for non-owners) or Sell. Notice what's missing: tips, hype and gut feeling. FQVDM determines what you buy, while the crash framework determines when the risk/reward becomes attractive. 5 investing myths that cost Nigerian investors money. And the facts that expose them. Myth 1: "Profit doubled, so my earnings doubled." Fact: not per share. FirstHoldCo's H1 2026 EPS grew about 72% while profit after tax grew about 82%, because the share count grew. Profit can grow faster than your slice of it. Always check EPS. (proshare) Myth 2: "The price is rising, so the business must be improving." Fact: price and earnings run on different clocks. Per Simply Wall St, Dangote Cement's EPS grew about 41% a year over 3 years, while its price grew about 60% a year. When price runs ahead of earnings, expectations rise, and so does the bar. Myth 3: "It's only ₦79, so it's cheap." Fact: price per share says nothing about value. Per Simply Wall St, NNFM posted a Q2 net loss of ₦2.29b on revenue of ₦2.06b. A low price isn't a margin of safety. Understanding the business is. Myth 4: "Treasury bills are risk-free." Fact: the default risk is low. The return risk isn't zero. The one-year T-bill stop rate was 15.90% at the October 14 auction and inflation was 14.63% in September. By our arithmetic, that's about a 1.3-point real return, and rates can fall before you reinvest. (nairametrics) (abokiforex) Myth 5: "The stock fell, so it's on sale." Fact: a fall can be a sale or a warning. FirstHoldCo fell about 18% in October from its September 30 close of ₦159.90, yet it opened the year at ₦47.90. The question isn't "how far did it fall?" It's "did the business change, or did the expectations?" (nairametrics) (nairametrics) The pattern across all five: the headline number is not the whole story. Per-share, per-year, per-naira, after-inflation. Look one layer deeper. FQVDM determines what you buy, while the crash framework determines when the risk/reward becomes attractive. FirstHoldCo: 9M earnings per share up 54%. Share price up roughly 170% this year. Same company. Two very different growth rates. So is this a recovery story or a re-rating that's run ahead of itself? Let's use FQVDM and the crash framework. F — Fundamentals 🐂 9M 2026 profit before tax rose 60.84% to ₦911.24bn, and EPS rose to ₦16.45 from ₦10.65. Total assets reached ₦32.20tn. 🐻 Q3 alone grew PBT 22.49%. H1 had grown 83.5%. Growth is still strong, but it slowed. (first holdcos pre tax profit rises 60 84 to n911 24 billion in 9m 2026266 +3) Q — Quality 🐂 H1 profit was helped by improved asset quality and lower credit losses. 🐻 The same H1 result leaned on a sharp rise in trading gains, while interest income softened. Interest income fell 2.74% in H1. Trading gains can be volatile. Ask how much of the profit is recurring. (businessday.ng +2) V — Valuation 🐂 At the July 20 close, Proshare put the stock at about 9x H1 EPS and 1.32x book. That was cheap for a bank returning to profit. 🐻 The price has moved a lot since. It closed at ₦159.90 on September 30 and was down about 18% in October as of the 9M release. It started the year at ₦47.90. Your entry price matters more than the headline. (LATEST UPDATES +2) D — Dividend 🐂 Management has committed to an enhanced payout policy, starting with the 2027 accounts. 🐻 That's a promise about the future. The latest final and interim dividends were nil. Don't price a dividend you haven't received. (arise) (investdata) M — Momentum 🐂 It's one of the strongest large-cap performers on the NGX this year. 🐻 The October pullback shows how fast sentiment turns after a run like this. One more check: the share count. In June 2026, the Group issued about 1.02bn shares in a private placement at ₦44.06. That's why H1 EPS grew about 72% while profit after tax grew about 82%. Profit grew faster than your slice of it. This is the lesson of the whole post: always compare per-share growth with headline growth. (africanfinancials) (proshare) The crash framework question FQVDM tells you whether the business is worth owning. The crash framework asks whether the price has reset enough to make the risk/reward attractive. A fall of about 18% in a month from a September peak is a pullback. But the price is still far above where the year began. So ask yourself: did the price fall because the business got worse, or because expectations were too high? Those need different answers. Our provisional read (analysis, not fact): • Owners: the business has clearly improved, and the case for holding is reasonable. Watch the quality of earnings. • Non-owners: a good business and a good entry point are different things. Your watchlist is the right place until the price-vs-earnings gap and the recurring-profit question are answered. FQVDM determines what you buy, while the crash framework determines when the risk/reward becomes attractive. What would make you change your mind about FirstHoldCo: slower profit growth, weaker asset quality, or a lower share price? 📚 Learn to apply FQVDM yourself: nestuge.me/uzeestocksupdate 🛒 Stock Analysis Template and guides: paystack.shop/uzee-stocks-up… 📲 WhatsApp: wa.me/2348033481247 📢 Channel: whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbC… ✉️ Partnerships: [email protected] | Questions: [email protected] 🌐 uzeeinvest.ng ▶️ youtube.com/@uzeestocksupdat… Educational content, not investment advice. If you had ₦500,000 today, where would it go? Most people start with the wrong question: "Which one pays the most?" Better question: "What is this money for, and when do I need it?" Here is the backdrop as of late October 2026: Inflation fell to 14.63% in September. The CBN cut the MPR by 350bps to 23% on September 22. The one-year T-bill stop rate was 15.90% at the October 14 auction. The FGN September 2036 bond cleared at 17.29% on October 19. (Nigeria’s Headline Inflation Falls to 14.63% in September 2026 +3) By our own arithmetic, the one-year T-bill beats inflation by about 1.3 points and the 2036 bond by about 2.7. That's a thin real return. Inflation, not the headline rate, is what you actually earn against. Now the six options, in plain terms: 🏦 Treasury bills: short-term, backed by the government. The risk is reinvestment. Rates have been falling, so your next roll may pay less. 📜 FGN bonds: you lock in a longer yield. If yields rise after you buy, the price of your bond can fall. Don't buy one if you may need the cash in 12 months. 📊 Mutual funds: convenient and professionally managed. Check the fees and what the fund actually holds. 🏢 Commercial paper: it's a company's IOU. The return is higher because the credit risk is real. Check the issuer and the minimum ticket size. 🇳🇬 NGX stocks: you own businesses. Returns can be high, and so can the drawdowns. Never buy on a price chart alone. 🇺🇸 US stocks: dollar exposure and global companies. At ₦500k, FX spreads and platform fees take a bigger bite. So which one wins? None, in the abstract. Here is a sequence worth thinking through (an illustration, not advice): 1️⃣ Safety first: an emergency fund covering 3–6 months of expenses, in something liquid. 2️⃣ Money needed in 1–2 years: fixed income. 3️⃣ Money you won't touch for 5+ years: equities, but only after you've analysed the business. Safety → income → growth. A rule we use: FQVDM determines what you buy, while the crash framework determines when the risk/reward becomes attractive. Your turn. If this ₦500k were all you had saved, would you take the same risks as if it were spare money? Dangote Cement's share price rose 33% in 7 days. Its profit rose 54% in a year. Those are two different clocks. Great investors know which one they're listening to. Q3 2026 vs Q3 2025 (Simply Wall St summary of the filing): 📈 Revenue: ₦1.26t (+16%) 📈 Net income: ₦337.6b (+54%) 📈 EPS: ₦20.15 (vs ₦13.09, +54%) 📈 Net margin: 27% (vs 20%) Notice what's clean here: net income and EPS both grew 54%. That suggests the share count didn't change, so the growth wasn't diluted. That's our arithmetic, not a reported figure. Confirm it in the filing. Now notice what drove it. Revenue grew 16%. Profit grew 54%. The margin did the heavy lifting. Ask why the margin jumped from 20% to 27%: • Higher prices? • Lower energy and input costs? • Lower finance costs or FX gains? • Something one-off? A margin gain from pricing power and efficiency can last. A margin gain from a one-off won't. Then the harder question. Over 3 years, EPS has grown about 41% a year, while the share price has grown about 60% a year. The price has run ahead of earnings. Revenue is forecast to grow about 16% a year, in line with the industry's forecast, not above it. A strong result doesn't tell you whether the price is fair. It tells you the business is doing well. The price tells you what everyone already expects. So what is ₦1,341.90 already assuming? FQVDM determines what you buy, while the crash framework determines when the risk/reward becomes attractive. NNFM's quarterly loss was bigger than its quarterly sales. Read that again, then check the numbers. Q2 2027 vs Q2 2026 (Simply Wall St summary of the filing): 📉 Revenue: ₦2.06b (down 72%) 📉 Net loss: ₦2.29b (vs a small profit last year) 📉 EPS: -₦12.86 (vs +₦0.81) Net loss of ₦2.29b on revenue of ₦2.06b. By our own arithmetic, that's a loss of more than ₦1 for every ₦1 sold. Verify it in the filing. A loss like that usually comes from one of two places: 1️⃣ The core business shrank. Revenue fell about 72%. Was it a production halt, a raw-material or FX squeeze, or lost customers? 2️⃣ Something below the operating line hit hard. Think finance costs, FX losses or impairments. These can be one-offs or a pattern. The two have very different implications. A temporary disruption can recover. A broken model may not. The share price is ₦79.40, down about 15% over a year and flat over the last 7 days. A flat price right after a result like this doesn't mean the market agrees with it. Liquidity can be thin, and prices can lag the news. So before anyone calls this a "cheap stock" or a "falling knife", which questions would you answer first? • What happened to operating cash flow? • How much debt is there, and who is it owed to? • What does management say about the next two quarters? • Is this a one-quarter event or the third bad quarter in a row? A low price is not a margin of safety. A margin of safety needs a business you understand. Fidson's profit more than doubled. Its EPS didn't. Why? Q3 2026 vs Q3 2025 (Simply Wall St summary of the filing): 📈 Revenue: ₦38.1b (+25%) 📈 Net income: ₦4.02b (+106%) 📈 EPS: ₦1.34 (vs ₦0.85, about +58%) 📈 Net margin: 11% (vs 6.4%) Net income grew 106%. EPS grew about 58%. When profit grows faster than EPS, ask one question: did the number of shares change? Dividing net income by EPS suggests the share count rose roughly 30% year on year. That's our own arithmetic, not a reported figure. Check the filing before you rely on it. Why this matters: the business can earn more while each share earns less than the headline implies. Many investors read "profit +106%" and stop. The better investor asks what happened to the per-share number. Three more things to check: 1️⃣ Margin: it rose from 6.4% to 11%. Was that pricing power, cost control or a one-off? 2️⃣ Cash flow: is the profit turning into cash? 3️⃣ Price vs earnings: the share price is up 107.5% in a year (₦87.15). EPS has grown about 44% a year over 3 years, while the price has grown about 80% a year. When price runs ahead of earnings, expectations rise. That isn't automatically bad, but it raises the bar. Analysts forecast about 19% annual revenue growth over the next 3 years. A forecast is a possibility, not a promise. So what would make you wrong about Fidson? Words have power. They can encourage a broken heart, restore hope, strengthen relationships, or cause deep pain. As Christians, our words should reflect our faith and the love of God. How can we use our words wisely? 1️⃣ Encourage Others: Speak words that inspire hope and give people strength to keep going. 2️⃣ Speak the Truth in Love: Correct others with kindness, not to condemn or humiliate them. (Proverbs 27:6) 3️⃣ Ask God for Wisdom: Pray for the grace to know when to speak, what to say, and when to remain silent. 4️⃣ Speak Words That Build: Avoid gossip, insults, and destructive criticism. Let your words bring peace, wisdom, and encouragement. 💡 FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Before you speak, ask yourself: Is it true? Is it helpful? Can I say it with love? 🙏 PRAYER: Lord, guide my words today. Help me speak with wisdom, kindness, and love. May my words encourage others, bring peace, and glorify Your name. 🇳🇬 3 NGX STOCKS. 3 DIFFERENT STORIES. ONE INVESTOR LESSON. SFSREIT: Is the distribution sustainable? Zenith Bank: Can earnings outrun rising costs? GTCO: Can excess capital generate profitable growth? A stock's story is only the beginning. 🧵👇 1️⃣ SFSREIT | NGX: SFSREIT The opportunity: Growing income and distributions. The concern: Rising expenses and a shrinking cash balance could put pressure on future payouts. My question: Are distributions supported by sustainable operating income, or partly by asset sales and other temporary sources? 2️⃣ ZENITH BANK | NGX: ZENITHBANK The opportunity: A stronger capital base and investment in technology. The concern: Regulatory charges and operating expenses could weaken earnings growth. My question: Is the bank converting its capital strength into higher sustainable returns for shareholders? 3️⃣ GTCO | NGX: GTCO The opportunity: A substantial capital base and growing payments-related opportunities. The concern: Capital creates value only when deployed profitably without taking excessive risks. My question: Can GTCO grow loans, fee income and earnings while maintaining asset quality? 🎯 THE UZEE INVESTOR'S VERDICT Don't buy a stock simply because an analyst calls it undervalued. Investigate: • Revenue and earnings quality. • Cash flow and balance-sheet strength. • Return on equity and capital allocation. • Dividend sustainability. • Valuation assumptions and downside risks. The newsletter's estimated fair values—₦390 for SFSREIT, ₦145 for Zenith Bank and ₦157 for GTCO—depend on forecasts that may not materialise. An attractive price is a starting point for research, not the conclusion. Which would you investigate first: SFSREIT, Zenith Bank or GTCO? 🚨 ALPHABET REPORTED $127.58B IN REVENUE. ITS STOCK STILL FELL SHARPLY. Meanwhile, Microsoft beat revenue and earnings estimates. What should investors learn from this? The stock market doesn't reward revenue alone. It rewards results relative to expectations. Here's the breakdown. 🧵 1️⃣ Revenue growth isn't the whole story. According to the supplied October 28 market snapshot: Alphabet's revenue: $127.58B Estimated revenue: $124.63B Reported EPS: $2.12 Estimated EPS: $2.99 Revenue beat expectations, but earnings per share fell short. That distinction matters. A company can sell more while delivering less profit per share than investors expected. 2️⃣ Beating estimates doesn't guarantee a rising stock. Microsoft reported: • Revenue: $92.28B vs. $90.7B estimated. • EPS: $4.89 vs. $4.72 estimated. Both figures beat expectations. But even when a company delivers strong results, investors must assess its guidance, valuation, cash flow and future growth prospects. 3️⃣ A falling stock isn't automatically cheap. A sharp decline can create an opportunity—or expose a business priced for unrealistic expectations. Before buying a dip, investigate: ✅ Fundamentals: Are earnings and cash flow improving? ✅ Quality: Does the company have a durable competitive advantage? ✅ Valuation: Is the price justified by expected future cash flows? ✅ Momentum: Is selling pressure easing or intensifying? THE UZEE INVESTOR'S RULE: Don't buy because a stock has fallen. Don't buy simply because earnings beat expectations. Understand the business. Evaluate the price. Identify the risks. Then decide. FUNDAMENTALS FIRST. ALWAYS. What would make you buy a stock after a 10% decline: stronger fundamentals or a cheaper valuation? 🌐 Learn to invest with clarity: uzeeinvest.ng Educational content only—not financial advice. 🚨 WALL STREET IS EMBRACING CRYPTO. BUT DOES THAT MEAN EVERY CRYPTO INVESTOR WILL WIN? Not so fast. Three lessons from the latest crypto developments 🧵👇 1/ Bitcoin: Patience beats prediction. When technical indicators conflict, don't force a trade. A support level isn't guaranteed to hold. A bullish crossover isn't proof of a recovery. Wait for confirmation. Define your risk. Protect your capital. 2/ Tokenization: Follow the infrastructure. Traditional finance is exploring blockchain to represent and transfer assets digitally. But here's the distinction: Adoption of blockchain technology does NOT automatically mean every associated token will appreciate. Study the business model, token utility, demand, supply and value captured by token holders. 3/ Privacy and DeFi: Innovation comes with trade-offs. Privacy tools, cross-chain transactions and institutional DeFi could improve how financial markets operate. But smart-contract vulnerabilities, custody risks, regulatory uncertainty and liquidity problems remain real concerns. New technology is not automatically a good investment. 🎯 THE UZEE INVESTOR'S RULE: Understand the technology. Investigate the fundamentals. Evaluate the valuation. Measure the risks. Then decide. FUNDAMENTALS FIRST. ALWAYS. What's more important to you: crypto adoption or a token's ability to capture real economic value?
