You can now build software that looks ready for a million users before you've learned what one person actually needs.
That's a dangerous amount of room to fool yourself.
Find people already doing the work. Give them early access. Watch what happens when they try to use your product in ways you never anticipated.
The faster you can build, the sooner you need contact with reality.

He said this is the feature he showed every single customer — because it saves more time than any other setting on the list.
"Most people use Spotlight to search for apps and files. That's like using Google Maps to check what country you're in. Spotlight is a full command palette — and it works faster than opening any app on your Mac."
Press Cmd + Space. Then:
"Type a math equation — '847 x 23' — and the answer appears instantly. No calculator app. No Google."
"Type a currency conversion — '150 USD in EUR' — and the exchange rate appears in real time."
"Type a unit conversion — '72 degrees F in C' — and it converts instantly."
"Type the first few letters of any app and hit Enter to launch it. Faster than clicking the dock. Faster than opening Launchpad."
"Type a word and get the dictionary definition, without opening Safari."
"Type the name of a contact and their phone number, email, and address appear."
"Hold Cmd while clicking a Spotlight result, and it reveals the file's location in Finder — instead of opening it."
"Go to System Settings → Spotlight → and disable categories you never search — Fonts, Developer, Siri Suggestions — so results load faster and stay relevant."
"Spotlight replaces 6 apps — calculator, converter, dictionary, launcher, contact lookup, and file search — with one keyboard shortcut. It's the single most powerful tool on your Mac, and most people open it once a month to find a lost document."

Following the amazing reaction to the Marble Curriculum yesterday, we've decided to make it open source 🛰️👇
Everything a child learns in primary school. 1,590 concepts. 3,221 connections across 8 subjects, from Math and Science to Computing and Life Skills. Anchored in the US and UK curriculums, standard by standard (NGSS, Common Core, DfE).
What you will find in the repo: every concept as structured JSON with its age band and the evidence a child must show to master it. Every prerequisite link marked hard or soft, with a written rationale. It's a true DAG you can compute learning paths on. Open license, you can build whatever you want with it.
Now is a unique time in history to be building in education. Getting AI and kids education right is likely one of the hardest and most important problems to crack over the next decade and we need as many smart and creative minds behind it.
We think a common solid basis, accessible to all and that can be built upon, is critical to move fast. That's why we're making this curriculum open source.
It's not perfect but we know it's a robust basis, and we believe that sharing it openly is the fastest way to progress in this field. If you're building in education, share this around you and tell us in comments if you find this useful and if you want to contribute.
We'll keep working and investing on it @withmarbleapp. Credit goes to @guillaume_boni for building this. I just made it look pretty.

The CUJU app uses AI vision to scout football players.
Developed by a German sports agent (Roger Wittman), the app was built to bypass traditional scouting networks and let anyone showcase talent.
Over-13s film themselves doing 8 drills and the footage is scored for speed, agility and ball control.
Top scoring players are invited to camps.
Over 160,000 users have tried it and when the app opened in Brazil, it instantly had 80,000 sign-ups.
“Cuju” is a play on a Chinese word meaning “kick ball”, an ancient Chinese sport with a leather ball from 2,000 years ago that FIFA recognizes as origin for the sport.

Openclaw's @steipete at @ycombinator; takeaways
All apps will become APIs or disappear
Apps that will remain will be games or sensor-heavy
Your agent, not you, will be the primary consumer of software
Personal AI agents will quietly take over daily workflows
We are possibly in the year of the personal agent
The web just became a tiny big bit better. linkedin.com/pulse/schemaorg…

The numbers are in: In 2024, @TheOceanCleanup removed 11,740,000 kg of trash—a 78% year-over-year increase.
A big thank-you to everyone who helped make this happen!
Now, let’s double this in 2025!
