Some moments in any academic life are defining... One near the top is being invited to deliver the visiting prof grand rounds to the bright and curious minds of the @HarvardRadOnc residents!
Showered with love and warmth Hope you enjoyed as much as I did. 🙏🏼 @DrPaulNguyen
Our faculty, @VedangMurthy, was invited as a Visiting Professor by the @HarvardRadOnc, where he spoke on “Radiotherapy for Urological Cancers: Asking the Right Questions.”
We congratulate Dr. Murthy on this recognition & contribution to the global academic dialogue!

TBH I am not blaming the AI at all! It does what it does.
I speak from the audience's POV.
Steering it to make it beautiful and meaningful (for the listener) needs much more time and effort than making it the good old fashioned way!
The irony of it! 😀
AI-generated slides have taken over every conference.😴
Boxes inside boxes, microscopic text, arrows connecting everything to everything else
The message is hidden deeper than a pelvic node!
Quite a turn-off.
We need a pre-conference workshop just to read the slides.

Excited to share our JAMA Oncology phase 2 trial of neoadjuvant SAbR for RCC with IVC tumor thrombus!
1-year RFS: 71.4%, meeting the prespecified criterion. Feasible with encouraging safety findings. Larger trials are next!

@VedangMurthy with secondary analysis of POP-RT using Artera MMAI. Intriguing results suggesting digital pathology + clinical variables could stratify risk of occult LN metastasis and benefit of pelvic RT

🇧🇪✨ Morning Piet! I came here for an answer not for your Belgium beautifully balanced intellect.
Would you start now? And if so what?
And in most cases we could wait if the patient agrees, and it’s a stressful time for time, but as you know some people do develop symptomatic disease that can cause long term morbidity.
I would treat now and in this case with ADT and Enza (if patient in agreement) with recommended exercise and diet @Adam_Weiner535 (excellent post yesterday) and aim for intermittent therapy if a good response.
Hope all well
The fast DT and high absolute PSA level without macroscopic disease can be monitored in this asymptomatic patient, but within 6 to 12mo the mets will show up and he will require systemic Tx. We still don’t know the ideal timing of starting.

What is T? My guess is diffuse marrow disease rather than nodal. Have seen this once before. Repeat PSMA PET after 4 wks of ARPI capitalising PSMA flare could be an option. Either ways not taking systemic therapy is not an option for long.
