There was a full house of both the Irish and Chiswick communities for the 2026 WB Yeats Lecture by Irish author and journalist Fintan O'Toole, who shared dazzling insights about the great poet whilst bridging his relevance to the Irish perception of today. It was great to have a strong turnout of VIPs including Andy Slaughter MP and acclaimed Irish actor Ciarán Hinds, who narrates the self-guided walk around key Bedford Park places relating to the Yeats family, which starts at the 'Enwrought Light' sculpture outside @StMichaelsW4, where the lecture took place. For those who missed out on a ticket, you can by Fintan O'Toole's new book 'We Don't Know Ourselves' from Everybody Reads. Thank you @YeatsBedfordPk's @CLDallat and @AnneMarie_Fyfe for a marvellous evening! @hammersmithandy #WBYeats #IrishPoet #BedfordPark #Chiswick #FintanOToole
