The Buddhist concept of itai doshin - "many in body, one in mind" - means we can all be different, we can all have different views about different things, but we have one core mission which unites us.
We MUST NOT allow the neo-liberal oligarch-owned media to destroy that mission because we are a threat to the system.
What next for the Greens and Polanski?
Caroline Lucas, clearly deeply unhappy over Zack Polanski’s handling of the ‘zionism is racism’ motion at the party’s conference is asked whether Polanski should resign over it & tellingly doesn’t rule that out. Instead she says: “Let’s see what happens… I want him to show the leadership that was frankly missing on Sunday”
But at the Camden count, where Polanski gives his first remarks following that motion. He says this:
Q: Your party voted that Zionism is racism. Do you agree with that?
POLANSKI: So I grew up in a Zionist household, and I grew up with the idea that, that region was a land without people and the people without a land. And as I've educated myself, learned, discovered. I don't believe that's true. *And what we're seeing is an ongoing genocide and the displacement of the Palestinian people. I believe that's clearly racist.*
Q: But don't you feel that the Jews deserve a state? Do you believe in the two state solution?
POLANSKI: I believe that it's not our role to decide, but what I do believe is that any state should have equal rights, and that shouldn't be based on faith or religion. That should be based on international human law and upholding equal rights for everyone.
Listening to the @SkyNews paper review as they talk about finding "a balance between the climate and the economy".
That's ok. As long as the economy is doing well, it won't matter if people can't breathe clean air or drink clean water. Those who have enough money will be able to buy their own air and water.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry is lying.
No coordination was required, and we were never told that it was. We were not in a restricted security area. We did not pass any checkpoints.
Palestinian farmers do not — and should not — need permits to harvest their own olive fields. But they fear doing so, because the IDF doesn’t protect them from settler violence.
We’re trying to model solidarity & co-existence between Jews and Palestinians, and to call attention to the horrors of the occupation. The Israeli government is trying to foment violence between Jews and Palestinians, and to make it impossible for Palestinians to harvest their olive groves, drive on their roads, or live in their homes.
This was not about harvesting olives.
It was about harvesting headlines.
Brad Lander’s latest stunt is nothing more than a calculated political provocation.
Lander traveled to a foreign country, deliberately entered a restricted security area, and participated in an unauthorized activity without the required coordination.
What makes this stunt even more outrageous is that his own team contacted Israeli representatives in the United States ahead of his visit and was explicitly informed that proper coordination with the relevant authorities was required.
He chose to ignore those instructions.
At a time of heightened security tensions, Israeli security forces have a responsibility to protect lives, prevent dangerous incidents, and maintain public order.
Had anyone been injured as a result of his reckless political theater, Lander would undoubtedly have been among the first to demand that Israeli authorities intervene and provide protection.
Brad Lander came looking for a confrontation. Now he is pretending to be its victim.

That's straightforwardly wrong. How are you even a news reporter?
The report mentions Israel 60 times. It refers to Palestine/Palestinian 35 times. It mentions Zionism (or Zionist) 11 times.
It argues for the adoption of the IHRA Definition that includes numerous examples related to Israel. It says, explicitly, that anti-Zionism is antisemitic. It says, outrageously, that Muslims disproportionately hold antisemitic views. It says 45% of British people are antisemitic because they believe that Israel rates Palestinians like Nazis treated Jews.
I'd say this report has almost nothing to do with antisemitism at all - it is almost entirely about Israel. Entirely.
It's two key recommendations are to encourage all schools to adopt the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism, which is plainly discriminatory towards people holding anti-Zionist beliefs; and for Prevent to be more actively engaged in helping schools deal with antisemitic incidents.
It is an inflammatory, quite disgraceful report, that, if implemented, will create severe crises in schools across the country and lead to the systematic persecution and harassment of children and teachers expressing anti-Zionist views - including anti-Zionist Jewish students and teachers.

I’m loving this run. My biggest frustration with much of the British left is that they’re moderates posing as leftists, trying to carve out a little space to make money. So they sit on the fence or fold whenever taking a principled stand might cost them something.
Pushing a two-state solution. Joining the media-driven antisemitism campaign against Labour. Falling for every colour revolution targeting sovereign anti-imperialist states.
