MW4 not being able to surpass BO7 aka the worst performing cod since 2008 on console should be very alarming and indicative of a serious franchise fatigue and hardly the games themselves.

Trying the classic mods on BO7 gave me even more reasons to want the next game to slow down the pace and let go of the current zombies speed and AI behaviors. You can tell how much these maps have been affected to accommodate these changes (wide and open areas everywhere)

Treyarch has already explored so many of these concepts in Zombies one way or another. A full WW1 dieselpunk retrofuturism or a 1950s Noir Decopunk game is infinitely more interesting than another black ops title and is probably the perfect pivot towards a new IP.

Surprised to hear this spoken about publicly because when I was told this I was sworn to complete secrecy due to the guy who accidentally put it in there losing his job for it. The inclusion of chaos was never meant to happen…which is why Black Ops 6, is the way it is LMAO
