Why is Taproot Address Derivation still so damn flaky in every wallet in 2026... @Blockstream You have TR addresses in mobile but I don't see them in desktop. Or rather I see where I can see TR addresses but says none exist and clicking add new account yields no taproot option.
I already knew the answer but it seems like the 110 people just don't understand weight.

The heaviest chain by cumulative proof-of-work is the continuing SHA-256 one (labeled Spamcoin in the diagram). It has ~1 ZH/s hashrate versus BCH at ~4 EH/s, BSV at ~0.2 EH/s, and the BLAKE2b chain at ~0.05 EH/s.
Kinda sucks there are some actually talented people wasting their efforts on shitcoins. I hope those builders come back to #Bitcoin sooner rather than later.

Liquid Network Restoration Update
With key technical milestones completed and network operations stable, user swap functionality is now restored with semi-automated swaps for Federation members. Normal peg and balance validation will be reinstated soon.
The Liquid Network’s members appreciate the broader Bitcoin community’s support and advocacy as we work to not only provide the restoration, but also harden the network’s security structure.

No one is born knowing how to code and it's easier than ever to learn because the skillset is not words per minute, accuracy and syntax anymore. It's systems engineering.

This is a post from my account on Nostr bridged to X, running entirely through an nsite ServiceWorker on Tenna. No custodians or middleman servers. My phone is the server.
I don't know who needs to hear this but no one holds Bitcoin. No one has Bitcoin in their wallet. The Bitcoins are on chain. Wallets hold keys.
I'm just here to repost stuff like this.
