Haven't posted here in ~6 months.
Last time I was active, I went from 0 → 1k followers in 3 months, mostly by meeting people building cool stuff.
Now I'm back with a new goal: meet as many indie builders as I can and actually test what they're building.
I'm putting $1,000 aside to buy and try your apps.
Time to start again 🚀
AI coding tools are creating a generation of developers who can ship entire apps but can't debug a simple issue without asking Claude.
Most indie hackers spend 90% of their time building and 10% finding customers.
Then wonder why nobody uses their app.

We’re reaching a point where everyone can build an app in a weekend.
Which means shipping an app isn’t impressive anymore.
Getting someone to actually use it is.

I tried Gauge by @HackneyManLee, a free app that checks your CV against a job ad and writes interview prep questions.
It just works, and the details are well thought out. To stand out from a general AI chat, it needs more custom integration with different recruitment/interview services or more custom features

Looking for a new indie project to review!
Happy to spend up to $25 on a premium plan if I like the product.
What should I try next?
I've gotten so used to Arc that I genuinely don't know what browser I'd switch to now.
Anyone else in the same boat?
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
· Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
· Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
· Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
· The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.
I keep seeing people on X saying they’re hitting the limits on their $200/month Claude subscription.
What the hell are you guys building?
I tried Papa by @KariaJeet, a Mac notch app with an Indian dad's personality.
Fun idea that got better the more I used it. I bought Pro to test the full product.
Onboarding and the "Papa" wording need polish, but I'd keep an eye on this one.

đź’¸ $4 / $1,000 spent trying indie apps!
I set aside $1,000 to try products built by indie developers here on X.
@KariaJeet shared papanudge.com under one of my posts, so I made my first purchase!
I'll share my review later today.

Here’s a challenge:
Convince me to try yours in one sentence.
No pitch decks. Just tell me why I’d use it.
What’s a project you’ve built that you’re genuinely proud of, but barely anyone knows about?
I’d love to check it out.
