We've been shipping various features to the Athena AI App, now on @baseapp. Holding 1,000,000 $ATHENA gets you our curated list of signals: 1) Smart Money - Current perp positioning (long/short) of Hyperliquid Wallets who have realized $100,000 or more in lifetime profits for a list of 48 tokens. 2) Athena's Wisdom - our proprietary ranking system, which uses a curated algorithm to pair trade assets whose spot flows run counter to futures speculation. 3) Liquidation Skew- turn those heatmaps into a simple one sided weighting for where liquidation gravity lives and how strong the pull is. 4) Smart Money Elite - a daily updating catalogue reflecting current positioning of the most consistent traders on Hyperliquid (Sharpe Ratio, Calmar Ratio, Avg ROI per trade, etc.). We now support up to 48 tokens and reflect the current positioning amongst ALL Hyperliquid Traders that have a combined realized/unrealized profit of $100,000 lifetime or more. We added Funding Rate weighted by open interest across many major exchanges as a data point to use in your analysis. When funding is high but smart money is short, this is a signal where profitable traders are divergent from the crowd. Similarly when funding is negative or low, but smart money is largely long, this is a similar signal. Athena #ProjectUpdates - This week, we secured a higher quality data API in two-year deal, now able to be granular by the minute and include advanced futures data such as liquidation information. - Recently debuted BTC & ETH Options & Futures signal into @virtuals_io @Butler_Agent (NOTE: The Athena Futures data point has been signaling Short almost everyday for the past month, and only recently has signaled Neutral or Long, aligning with market price action) - Integrated into @Shekel_Agentic as a data point option to use, including the aforementioned Futures Signal. - Currently focusing on continuing to backtest current and additional algos with recently added API data. - Athena's goal has always been to be continually net deflationary and profitable, even if we have no organic token buyers, and only one customer. We are well on our way. - Athena Treasury has never sold any $ATHENA tokens. Protocol revenue has bought and burned nearly 9% of the supply and bought an additional ~1.5% of the supply. - Once backtesting and new algos are in a state where team is comfortable with results, will start the process to update our web dashboard application and create @base app. More to come...

Announcing Athena's Wisdom! Now available via @Butler_Agent and @Shekel_Agentic! Here's how it works: Athena's Wisdom is focused on identifying trends and positioning differences between institutional players and retail speculators in options and futures markets. Currently we are only focused on $BTC and $ETH while we build out the algorithms. The different data points are: Futures_Signal: Proprietary algorithm based on funding rates, institutional positioning, retail positioning across major CEXes. Duration of signal is generally near term (hours-days) Athena_Wisdom_Shortterm: Utilizes combination of Futures Signal and near-term Options positioning, generally lasts hours to days. Athena_Wisdom_Midterm: Focused more on institutional options positioning with an outlook of days to weeks. Athena_Wisdom_Longterm: Focused more on institutional options positioning with an outlook of weeks to months. These signals were derived from backtesting data every hour over the last year. Note that just because a signal says long or short, the general chances of that happening based on the backtests are between 51% and 65%, so there are no guarantees. Black swans and white swans are unpredictable by their very nature and will always trump this data. Athena's data is updated every 30 minutes. These signals are for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered financial advice. Soon we will add more signals that take into account the Futures Basis trade, and are investigating other backtested algorithms surrounding whale momentum and liquidation data. Athena at its core has always been about utilizing AI to discover and synthesize the most actionable data from crypto derivatives - namely Options and Futures. We use this data to discern speculators and retail investors from the major players with the capital available to move markets. Our backtesting and early algorithms are complete and finishing touches are being put into our upgraded API. We are looking to host and deploy the data with our early partners and soon will make much of the data available through our tokengated app. Truly exciting times ahead. For those who have been supporting us from the beginning - we thank you for your feedback, dedication, and patience.

Questions are coming in how $ATHENA leverages the @coinbase x402 meta. The answer is simple. We were one of the first and most dedicated agent projects to build on the @virtuals_io ACP, and by default all ACP agents will get a hook into x402 calls. So what happens next? The Athena API is getting a big upgrade in the coming weeks. Previously it was mainly focused on Hyperliquid smart money positioning, but now it will also be utilizing heavily backtested algorithms from Futures and Options data from the world's most liquid derivatives exchanges. We will have weighted signals that show you how institutions, market makers, prop shops, hedge funds, etc. are utilizing derivatives. By seeing where these entities are betting where price will go in the short-medium term, and comparing it to retail trading signals we're curating, we'll have a data point that many trading agents will want to add to their arsenel. Once our API is updated, we'll update our token-gated dashboard, then pipe that information into our ACP call, which will eventually be available to every x402-enabled agent in the world. We're raising the price on that call from $1 to $5 (maybe more in the future). As always, a large portion of protocol revenues goes to token buybacks. This is how we win. More to come...

#ProjectUpdates - Athena founder got first place in two global trading competitions using testing version of development API data back in August & September - Athena Team launched the MVP of their app at 0xathena.ai on October 1st, including tokengated Hyperliquid smart money dashboard - Athena one of the first agents picked for Agent Commerce Protocol hedge fund cluster (Butler benefits soon?) - Athena Team onboarded 3 new developers last week for an overhaul of API and dashboard (Sample storyboard in pic below) - Athena Team bought back 6,500,000 $ATHENA tokens with protocol revenue yesterday, bringing total buy-and-burn to 87,000,000 and total buy-and-stake since June to over 15,000,000. Athena has been exceptionally net deflationary since we launched nearly 11 months ago. We keep building despite the noise.
