And people still don't wanna believe me that it's not too late to earn Variational points.
This will be very obvious in hindsight.
Var mode.
it's still suprisingly ez to get into top activity leaderboard on Variational, only 500m / 30D top #20 threshold
Honestly expected easily +50% more concentrated top at this point, API might push it a bit more
Slow week, still earned +104 points on Variational this week.
Probably gonna get smashed by @wronguser000 casually clearing over 2k points again this week xD
But I wanna remind you that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others. There are always people earning more than you.
You should focus on improving yourself every week and try to learn from the people above you.
That’s how you climb to the top and eventually make it.
A bit of a spiritual points update this week, but I felt it was necessary, especially now that we’re heading into another bull market.
Long story short: when you see individuals like wronguser, aka frog, go so hard on a project, earning ~1.5% of the weekly points on a protocol doing $20B+ in weekly volume, you shouldn’t fade.
You don’t want to be sidelined from the biggest airdrop of this year.
So if you don’t have any Variational points yet, make sure to change that right now:
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN… (18% boost)
Note: organic trading is rewarded with the most points, so I’d simply move most of my perps activity over to Variational to stack a few points while performing your usual trades.
If you are, or have been, an active perps trader on Hyperliquid or Lighter, you might be eligible for up to $500,000+ in rewards.
Variational started the On-Chain Trader Rewards Program to onboard new perps enthusiasts to the platform.
People come over, sign up to claim their rewards, notice Variational is a great perps DEX to trade on, and then choose to stay or leave (which is also totally fine).
But as a trader, you can only win here.
If you’re eligible for rewards, you can simply claim them and leave Variational if you don’t want to trade there.
But convince yourself first before judging. I know a few friends of mine who are using Variational daily now, but when I first talked to them about it, they were like “nah, won’t use another incentives-driven perps dex.”
That’s exactly the mistake people make. They think Variational is like the other 100 new perp dexs launching with the sole purpose of running a points program and attracting farmers.
Variational is different though.
They offer the cheapest execution cost for RWAs through TradFi Swaps on-chain, the best rates for crypto majors like BTC compared to Hyperliquid or Lighter, and 550+ markets with up to 50x leverage and zero fees (the largest variety of assets listed across any perps DEX).
To claim your reward, you first need to create an account on Variational:
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
You don’t necessarily have to use my code to join, but you’d be leaving money on the table not doing that, since it offers the best perks. A ref code is required to join anyway, as Variational is still invite-only.
Next, go to the “Competitions” tab in the upper bar and click “On-Chain Traders,” or use this link once you’ve created an account to be redirected there directly:
omni.variational.io/trader-r…
Then check every address with an active perps history to see if you’re eligible, and claim your reward.
I’ve helped people earn over $10,000 through the Variational On-Chain Trader Rewards Program so far, and every single one of them was shocked how easy it was.
Try it and convince yourself. It genuinely takes under a minute to check if you’re eligible.
If you still have any questions, lmk in the comments 👇
I often get asked “who will use Variational if there are no incentives?”
This is the perfect example and the reason I started using Variational in the first place.
They have so many niche assets listed with up to 50x leverage that you won’t find anywhere else (CEXs excluded, because no one uses that shit in 2026).
There are literally endless opportunities to make money on these niche assets, because no one is paying attention to them.
I didn’t catch this solana:DvjbEsdca43oQcw2h3HW1CT7N3x5vRcr3QrvTUHnXvgV short unfortunately, but if you were locked in enough like my homie @0xasrequired, you would have found it by filtering based on 24h change and looking at assets that pumped extraordinarily.
Most of them only pump suddenly because of a short squeeze, and you get the opportunity to short this shit to zero, only on Variational.
While paying zero fees.
Isn’t that amazing?
For these kinds of moments, having a Variational account is a must, because you could have made a lot of money if you were prepared.
Your job as a trader here is to make money, not marry your day-1 perps dex.
I was a hardcore Hyperliquid user myself, and Lighter after that, but I don’t see a single reason why you shouldn’t be using Variational.
You’ve got over 550 assets listed, with up to 50x leverage, among them nearly 20 SWAPs with deep TradFi liquidity, all while paying zero fees.
Create a Variational account asap and be prepared next time:
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN… (18% points boost)
wow i should've just shorted solana:DvjbEsdca43oQcw2h3HW1CT7N3x5vRcr3QrvTUHnXvgV despite the funding
-50% in 2.5hrs = 500% on 10x lev on your margin
and you only paid 1 funding payment of 3.8% on your notional (38% on your margin)
so if you shorted $1000 margin with 10x lev, you paid $380 and made $6000 = $5620 profit
you only get these opportunities on @variational_io, as required.
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN… (12% points boost)
Earned 170 points this week on Variational.
Put in the work, you're not late.
You'll regret not taking Variational points seriously.
My code gives you the maximum 18% points boost:

18% points boost:
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
If you see this and still don’t have any Variational points, let me tell you this:
You will be sidelined from the biggest airdrop not only of this year but also in crypto history.
The timeline will be filled with so many 6-7 figure airdrops, and you’ll cope so hard that you missed THE generational airdrop.
These numbers are all without APIs being live, which means no bots, quants or market makers are trading on Variational yet.
Those make up the majority of volume on other DEXs like Hyperliquid, which means current metrics on Variational will at least double after API launch.
There are only 15 Swap markets live, with predictable funding (flat at around 5% annually) and the lowest execution cost of any on-chain venue.
Just imagine what happens once hundreds or thousands of Swap markets are live, markets that have never been listed on-chain before, with APIs live so that market makers, quants and bots come in to arb inefficiencies and hedge their positions.
The potential for Variational Swaps is endless.
So the next time you hear something like “it’s all farmed up, metrics will dump -90% after TGE,” be sure that person is sidelined and knows nothing about the product.
Swaps are a true 0→1 innovation for on-chain RWA derivatives.
You’ll see the whole thesis unfold in 2027 once institutions and TradFi move to Variational to trade Swaps, but it’ll be too late by then.
I’ve been earning points at a consistent $10-12 cost per point, even now that volumes have jumped a lot, so don’t let people tell you it’s too late.
Btw that’s the equivalent of buying $VAR at a $400M FDV.
Easiest 10-100x opportunity in the market right now.
Don’t overthink it. Just start earning Variational points today and watch the magic unfold over the next 12 months.
My code gives you the maximum 18% points boost:
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
Once in a while, every 2-3 years, there’s a project that’s extraordinary on all fronts.
Your only job is to identify it and figure out the most efficient way to profit from it.
SOL in 2021, Hyperliquid points in 2023, and now Variational points in 2026.
All have very talented and hungry teams, and a great product with insanely high demand and TAM.
Honestly, you don’t need to know more than that. The most important variables in any successful crypto investment are the team and the product.
If both are extraordinarily good, the rest resolves itself.
Look at the SOL chart in 2021, or even the HYPE chart after TGE when people thought there was no upside left. You had several months to accumulate at very low prices before the violent repricing to the upside happened.
I think we’ll get the same opportunity on VAR again after TGE. But remember what I said in the second sentence?
Your job is to find the “most efficient” way to profit from it, and right now that’s points.
Taking my average cost per point this week, I was able to acquire VAR at a ~$400M valuation (32% genesis airdrop, ~11M points at TGE, $10-12 cost per point).
Looking at all available pre-market prices and prediction markets like Polymarket, the market is pricing in a launch at $1-1.5B.
I think the market is still slightly wrong and VAR will launch a bit higher, consolidate to wash out airdrop sellers, and then slowly grind up to fair value.
But let’s say the market is right. Even then, you’re much better off earning points now than waiting for VAR to launch, because you get a 3-4x better entry, or a 65-75% discount.
The discount gets even bigger if you use code OMNIBASESOL to join Variational, since it gives you the maximum 18% points boost:
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
You need a code to join anyway, since Variational is still invite-only, so you might as well use the one with the best perks and not leave money on the table.
They’re showing you the top performers of this cycle, while you choose to close your eyes.
$HYPE and $VAR are the most obvious tokens to outperform any other asset in the top 100.
The revenue meta isn’t just a “meta”.
People are finally realizing that no one wants to buy your dogshit L2 token generating $2 in daily revenue.
Institutions and TradFi investors are getting more interested in crypto, but they want to invest in projects they actually understand.
Projects with real, steadily growing revenue, a huge TAM and a visionary team.
Hyperliquid and Variational are the only two tokens that fit this criteria.
There aren’t many bidable tokens out there.
TradFi will bid the winners only. Choose wisely.
HyperVariational.
Earned +161 points this week on Variational.
It’s still possible to earn a significant amount of points every week. You just gotta work harder.
Put in more work than the average Joe and earn more points. It’s that simple.
Points Alfa: Trade low OI crypto perps.
And if you haven’t joined Variational yet, what the hell are you doing, do you hate money?
Variational is the most obvious $10B+ protocol out there. If you don’t believe me, you’ll learn the hard way, just like with $HYPE after TGE.
An invite code is required to access Variational, so you might as well use the one with the best perks.
Use OMNIBASESOL to receive a lifetime 18% points boost:

This is very true:
4 good decisions in my past have made the majority of my net worth so far.
The other trades were just part of the learning curve, and part of making the connections that ultimately led to the king-maker trades.
Decision 1: Tensor
I went all in on Tensor and grinded the airdrop every day for a few months.
@Notfgod built a market making bot back then with a few colleagues. I was lucky enough to know him from Emperors DAO, back in my active NFT days in 2022-23.
I ended up being one of a handful alongside him, his friends and others using the bot to climb the ranks on Tensor.
While doing that, I was actively discussing strategies to maximize Tensor points in several groups and DAOs, including Welfare's Discord, where I met @Henrik_on_HL.
He was farming Tensor too and was pretty active in the group, so I DM'd him. Turned out he spoke the exact same language I did xD
We'd chat about new strategies, alpha and check in weekly on how many points we'd each earned.
Tensor ended up being a huge success. I cleared a solid 5-figure airdrop.
Decision 2: Hyperliquid
After that, Henrik convinced me to try this new DEX called Hyperliquid, which apparently was going to be a big deal.
I traded some spot tokens and found myself in another farm, exchanging alpha back and forth with Henrik again.
Was a bit late to HL and ended up selling my airdrop too early, which could have been worth a solid 5 figures as well. Didn't matter though, because I stayed in the HL ecosystem after the airdrop.
I learned a lot about HL spot tokens, made solid profits in the Hypurr Pump trenches (HL OGs will remember these times haha), and got properly familiar with perps DEXs in general.
So I joined Panda Land led by @derteil00, a big community around HL spot tokens at the time, to lock in further on the HL ecosystem.
Cleared another 5 figures.
Decision 3: Lighter
Then @derteil00 started sharing Lighter, the first perps DEX to offer zero fees.
I noticed a few very sharp traders in my circle joining too, so I got curious.
After some due diligence, I found myself in the next farm. It resulted in a fat airdrop, the biggest I've received to date.
Two things made this one work. First, I was early and put in the work. Second, I was fast at one specific thing: onboarding people.
I spotted a big inefficiency in Lighter's referral program. Every trader only got 3 invite codes per week, but demand for those codes was far bigger than supply.
So I found a way to get an unlimited number of invite codes and distributed them across my whole network.
I was one of maybe 3 people with unlimited codes, because I had the courage to speak up, negotiated good conditions and worked hard to onboard as many people as humanly possible.
My brother Henrik unfortunately didn't join, even though I shared it with him repeatedly. You can't be in every trade. He now has well over 12,000 Variational points, so I doubt he's losing sleep over it lmao.
Decision 4 (in progress): Variational
While farming Lighter, Henrik sent me a Variational invite, which was gated to a small group of people back then.
After doing my research, a lot of boxes ticked green, especially the team, which I was genuinely bullish on. So I started trading there too, and shared my conviction with my community and inner circle again.
And the rest is history.
Easier said than done.
However, this same approach I did with Variational as I had no other opportunity I seen that came across as an option after getting chopped out the last 2 years starting with 10.10 paving the way for the shitty setbacks that came afterwards both onchain and irl.
Deepdived alot into Variational after being pointed out by a gigabrain at the potential. Did so much research into the team and realized its do or die with them cause I have alot of belief in them and the vision. If I had known I'd lose close too $940k from the peak I probably would have quit the space and if I hadn't lost all that money from being chopped out and many failures in perps trades I probably wouldn't have went all out on Variational either. World works in a strange way.
If this wasn't even a meta I probably would have saved $500k and not touched any Perps venue. You live and you learn but It also made me into a better trader realizing what my issues was these last 18 months, knowing when too step away from the computer. Try not too revenge trade, do better sizing and wait for entrys and always having a sl even if miraculously it gets hit way more than a volatile ticker should...
Suffice too say, being in the top 24 I am going for top 20 in Variational and when the TGE comes, it will be just the beginning and I can trade with full confidence and not out of a scarcity mindset. Me being able to trade however during a war, summer chop, eyeing new narratives during the growing pains will set me up when the bullmarket is out in full force next year. I'd be lieing to you that I will be trading perps alot post tge, instead will trade with a smaller portfolio like a sniper when i feel like it as I've seen way more success doing it in this manner than anything.
Rather, I will gladly just hold spot major $Vars token and stake it as the growth potential is going too be the largest R/R I seen for a cashflow derivatives Titan in the making in my 8 years in crypto.
Variational Is Generational.
I've seen a few posts like this, so it's time for some clarification.
1. Swaps > Perps for RWAs
For RWAs, you can't argue against this.
Say 2 whales want to long/short $3M worth of S&P 500 on the weekly open.
Whale A uses Variational Swaps. Whale B uses TradeXYZ perps.
Here's the difference:
Whale A pays 1.5 bps ($450) in total execution costs on Variational. Whale B pays 4 bps ($1,200) on TradeXYZ.
On top of that, Whale A gets a flat funding rate under 5% annually, while Whale B can pay over 100% annually on volatile days.
Net result: Whale A pays 60% less in execution costs and carries a low, predictable funding rate that doesn't eat into his PnL.
This isn't just a whale thing. It scales down to any position size.
And it's only possible because of Variational's RFQ model, which aggregates deep TradFi liquidity (still far more liquid than on-chain) and bridges it on-chain.
Genuinely one of a kind.
2. Lower execution costs on crypto majors
On a $100K BTC position: 0.005% execution cost on Variational, 0.046% on Hyperliquid, 0.092% on Lighter.
That's 9x cheaper than Hyperliquid and 18x cheaper than Lighter on average.
Source: executioncost.xyz
The reason Variational can run this cheap is the same RFQ model.
Instead of leaking spread revenue to external market makers, OLP (Omni Liquidity Provider) acts as the single counterparty for every trade on the platform and captures the spread itself.
As activity rises, Variational can scale spreads down even further, because more volume means more longs and shorts can be paired against each other internally, leaving less to actually hedge.
That's also why Variational charges zero fees. They don't need them.
3. 560+ markets, the most of any on-chain venue
No other perps dex comes close to this number.
It's one of the main reasons I use Variational myself. It's the only on-chain venue offering smaller altcoins with up to 50x leverage and zero fees.
After FTX went bankrupt, I haven't touched a CEX.
So for me, trading these smaller niche tokens means using Variational, or not trading them at all.
I'd have missed out on a lot of profit without it.
TL;DR:
> Better execution costs on RWAs via SWAPs than TradeXYZ or Lighter
> Better execution costs on crypto majors like BTC, which only improve as usage grows
> The widest asset variety on-chain
Any one of these three would be enough for a product to find PMF and scale its user base. Variational has all three.
So next time someone says "Variational's activity will drop 90% after incentives end," remember this:
Variational was product-first for over a year before any points program existed. That's exactly why it found such a PMF.
And I haven't even mentioned Variational PRO for options, since that's built more for institutions than retail.
Just food for thought on how many angles Variational is attacking at once.
As much as I respect you, Milo, you should rethink your decision and start using Variational for majors and RWAs.
Replying to @coincarver
There is a reason why SWAPs on Variational make up for 2/3 of the total volume.
And there are only 10 markets live rn.
When 1000s of SWAPs get listed on Variational, markets that have never been tradable on-chain before, with zero fees, very low spreads and flat carry of 4,5%, where do you think RWA traders will trade?
APIs are not live yet so you don't see this in full action yet.
But once it's live, you will see a lot of RWA algo traders move to Variational, cause the difference in execution costs compared to TradeXYZ and Lighter RWAs is significant.
Try it and convince yourself that SWAPs are better than perps for RWAs.
If you're not using OMNIBASESOL on Variational, you're leaving free money on the table.
18% points boost (maximum) and silver tier for 90 days.
You need an invite code to access Variational anyway, so you might as well use the one with the best perks.
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
Today, one year from now, you will regret not doubling down on Variational.
Reminds me a lot of Hyperliquid pre-TGE, where it seemed like an "ordinary" perps dex.
But those who really understood Jeff's vision knew it was different.
Lucas is giving me the exact same vibes.
+64 points this week on Variational.
Slow week, but still able to maintain my top 150 rank.
A few things I'm looking forward to, which will increase the difficulty to earn points soon though:
- API launch
- 24/7 SWAP trading roll-out
- New SWAP market listings, especially on assets that have never been tradable on-chain before (like $COCOA recently)
- Announcement of the major strategic partnerships that "redefine Variational’s trajectory", as teased by the team in the recent article about TGE and Tokenomics
You should do everything in your power to earn as much Variational points as you can right now.
Once those catalysts go live one after another, metrics will go up even more and it will become harder to earn points.
And if you haven't earned a single Variational point yet, what are you even doing.
You got gifted another generational airdrop to retire the bloodline after Hyperliquid, and you choose to be sidelined?
An invite code is required to access Variational, so you might as well use the one with the best perks.
Code OMNIBASESOL gives you the highest available points boost (18% instead of the usual 12%): omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
Attention: There might be $500,000+ sitting in your wallet!
This is no clickbait. It's literally free money, completely serious.
Only requirement is an active perps trading history. Platform doesn't matter (HL, Lighter, Aster, etc.).
Here's how you get your money:
1. First, join Variational: omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
2. Head over to the "On-Chain Rewards" tab: omni.variational.io/trader-r…
3. Type in all your active perps wallets one-by-one in the search bar to see if you're eligible.
Variational started the On-Chain Trader campaign a few weeks ago to reward the most active on-chain perps traders.
Some wallets are eligible for 3,000 Variational points. That could be worth $500,000+ if $VAR launches at the same valuation as $LIT right now, which isn't unlikely given Variational's stronger metrics.
Already helped a few close friends secure $10,000+ through the On-Chain Trader Rewards campaign.
Try it and convince yourself.
You were indeed very early to the biggest airdrop of 2026.
Only if you didn't fade and put in the work.
Some people simply don't deserve wealth cause they don't want it enough.
Now you've got a last chance until EOY to earn points, and you choose to fade AGAIN?
Don't overthink this. Start NOW.
Access code + 18% points boost:
omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
You realize how early you are to Variational?
For comparison, Lighter already has well over 100k lifetime traders.
When it comes to airdrops, the only things that matter are being early (low competition) or choosing a product with real PMF.
Variational has both — traders who get liquidated actually get bailed out through loss refunds, which basically gives them a second chance.
Which other DEX offers that?
On top of that, you’ve got zero fees, tight spreads, and 500+ markets to trade.
The crazy part? There are only about 5k users right now with $100k+ lifetime volume on Variational.
And to put that in perspective — opening and closing a 50x lev trade with 1k margin already gives you $100k volume.
The most obvious reason why Variational doesn’t have 5–10x more users yet is because they haven’t launched their points program.
But the founder already confirmed that points are coming soon, and retroactive usage will be rewarded.
What more do I need to say?
You’re basically farming points right now, the only difference is that you don’t see them yet or get your weekly dopamine hit.
For once, stop procrastinating and build volume on Variational pre-points, while competition is still low.
I remember back in March, when I was farming Lighter, I got 200 points for trading $2M in a week — those are worth $20k OTC now!
I regret not pushing 10x more volume back then on Lighter, but I’m not making the same mistake again with Variational.
You need an invite to join since they’re still in private beta.
Using code OMNIBASESOL instantly puts you in Bronze Tier, gives you boosted loss refunds, and a (REDACTED) boost soon 👀
