My contribution to The Republic has been helping our squad keep track of VP contributions and plan how to share expansion costs.
As new members joined, I tracked previous contributions and worked through ways to keep the cumulative amounts reasonably balanced.
One concrete example: expanding from 8 to 9 members required 1,500 VP from the squad as a whole—not from each person.
What I learned is that “everyone pays the same amount this time” does not necessarily mean everyone has contributed equally overall. Previous payments and each member’s available VP matter too.
Clear records make those decisions easier to explain.
If you want to contribute to a squad, keeping a simple record of members’ payments and agreeing on the next expansion’s cost split is a practical place to start.
