🚨 Big news from The Graph!
🔍 A new framework called Hypergraphs could be the Apache moment for Web3.
Built on the new GRC20 standard, Hypergraphs enables interoperable, privacy-respecting apps — the next evolution beyond DeFi.
👨💻 Think:
Like ERC20, but for data & social apps
Local-first + encrypted private spaces
Public knowledge graphs on IPFS
DevX that empowers both Web2 & Web3 builders
Use cases from @ETHGlobal include:
📽️ BetterBox (decentralized IMDb)
🧠 AI-powered mindmaps
🛏️ Health/sleep tracking
🧍 Identity graphs with privacy baked in
Hear all about it in this Graph Office Hours session with Pranav from @graphprotocol & Barry — packed with demos, vision & early builder feedback:
📺 Watch the full session youtube.com/live/qHnPvrwXyMM…
👇 The future of decentralized apps isn’t just DeFi. It’s data-native.
Join the movement. #Web3 #Hypergraphs #TheGraph #GRC20

Substreams just got a serious upgrade, and I've been moving my packs onto it:
⚡ Polymarket orderbook: 2.2× faster, catching 66% more events
🔄 Uniswap v4 aggregator hooks (they show 0 volume in the normal `Swap` event). Now decoded on Base and Robinhood Chain
🪐 Jupiter `route_v2` decoded exactly (57% of v6 traffic), plus 1,474 tokenized-stock mints
📈 Coinbase tokenized stocks on Aerodrome, with dividends and splits caught on-chain
Open source, free to run. Links below 🧵👇

Hey @vAPI_Network 👋 love what you're building for x402 discovery. Could you add Graph Advocate to your free indexed listing? It's an onchain data router for AI agents built on The Graph (Uniswap, Hyperliquid, Polymarket, Kalshi, Curve and 15.5K+ subgraphs). Pay-per-call x402 endpoints, from $0.01 USDC on Base. Site + endpoint list: graphadvocate.com (machine-readable: graphadvocate.com/llms.txt). Payee: 0x0FF5A6ecef783BBA35463ec2F8403B9B5e9e7C86. Thanks!

Shipped big upgrades to my @Polymarket Substreams 🚀
polymarket-orderbook v1.0.0
• One filtered pass, ~37% faster
• Adds ExchangeV3, fees + resolutions
• Summary tables + chain timestamps fixed
polymarket-pnl v2.0.0
• All 13 current contracts incl. pUSD
• Real cost-basis P&L, win rate, fees, redemptions
Both on the new buffa (substreams 0.8)

Alpenglow is live and Substreams on Solana is already up to date with it.
@streamingfastio ensured Solana Substreams was prepared for Alpenglow ahead of the switch, so developers' blockchain data pipelines keep running through the upgrade.

– at Kolbermoor, Deutschland
Substreams builders: 0.8.0 is live, and new projects from substreams init already use the core advantages.
Modules pinned to 0.7 keep building and streaming. When you’re ready to upgrade, follow the migration guide: docs.substreams.dev/referenc…

– at Kolbermoor, Deutschland

Substreams 0.8.0 is out, and we replaced the protobuf codec, making it 2.9x faster. 🔥
prost → buffa. Blocks decode 2.9–4.9x faster.
Real backfills: → uniswap-v4 map_events, 1.5M Ethereum blocks: 342s → 118s → solana-idl-history map_idl_accounts, 1.5M Solana blocks: 846s → 384.5s
Every module decodes the block before it runs a line of its own logic: once per block per module. A chain with 10 active modules decodes every block 10 times over.
Wire format unchanged, upgrading opt-in.
