Just got back from speaking at ETH Belgrade about exactly this
โThe Creator Economy Nobody Budgeted Forโ
For those who missed it, hereโs the gist:
Iโve been on both sides of this as a marketer deciding creator budgets, and now as a creator on the receiving end of them.
That gives me a view most people in this conversation donโt have.
Ads donโt work the way they used to. People donโt trust a banner, they trust a person whoโs been in their feed for months explaining things honestly.
But most teams still allocate creator budgets like an afterthought: whateverโs left after the โrealโ marketing spend. Then they wonder why the campaign didnโt land, or why the creator ghosted after one deliverable.
My point on stage: if you want creators who actually understand your product and advocate for it long-term, you have to budget for the relationship, not just the post. That means retainers over one-offs, briefs that respect the creatorโs voice, and treating this like the infrastructure investment it is.

my mom has been many things I donโt wanna be (narcissistic edition)
but one thing Iโm grateful for is she always told me I need to have my own money and never rely on a man
that was the exact mindset I stepped into my now relationship
but surprisingly, my hubby changed that
slowly but steadily he showed me I can rely on him and that since weโre a couple, itโs OUR money, not strictly โmineโ or โhisโ
(heโs more mindful with my money tho)
I wouldnโt have a problem with splitting the bills before him - thatโs how I was raised
but him being ready to pay for me helps me relax next to him, feel protected and less anxious
I still am 100% sure a woman should have her own money. what men donโt understand is that women care about security much more
and if you pay for us, itโs about us relaxing and trusting you a little more
not โusing youโ for a plate a salad lol

unpopular opinion, no social account in crypto is a big fat L
if you run any kind of social account, X, tg channel, tiktok, insta, whatever, you make money no matter what cycle weโre in
deals, collabs, allocations, referrals, thereโs no limit. you can start from nothing and just grow, grow and grow
before, you could just grind stuff, like nfts, wls, discord, airdrops, perps, whatever. but now not having a business social account is a big fat L if you want to stay in this niche
