<12h left and so close to $4000, can we make it? qf.giveth.io/project/plankev…
help us make Plank the best language it can be ⚡️
Still looking for an interesting role in rust/solidity
I'm a solidity/rust engineer looking for the next opportunity.
I've worked on smart contracts for @UmamiFinance gmx vaults and keepers for a couple years now. More recently I also worked on contracts and offchain infrastructure and keepers for @agra_gg .

If there are 50 Claude Coded libraries available for a given task, how will you choose between them? Or will you just write your own? Do we have any idea how to judge software quality?

I admire Thariq and the Claude devs, but I don't agree with their reasoning here.
Although as with anything worth discussing I don't entirely disagree with it either.
In scrollback mode you allow the terminal emulator to handle selection and copy. Which is fine with lines of soft-wrapped text. As soon as you introduce any kind of formatting (as basic as word wrapping—which should be a given IMHO) that formatting is baked into the scrollback buffer. If you select and copy text you won't get back the original text. It will contain hard breaks and other formatting characters that won't make sense when you paste.
Claude recently added prettier diffs. If you select and copy those diffs, you pull in line numbers, the + and - characters, and line breaks that aren't in the original code.
There is always going to be this tension between formatting the output for human consumption, and maintaining useful text selection. Its rarely possible to do both.

However, you no longer get native terminal experiences for things like Cmd+F search, text selection, and copy/paste.
We value this native experience a lot. We may explore alternate screen mode in the future, but our bar is quite high.

I think approvals could have been easily scraped and there were probably whitehat attempts for existing balance when the vulnerability was first found. The contract should have been bricked, if that was not possible, you usually want a way to communicate with the addresses.
But since, that is not very easy to link to socials where you can message them, we need a native way for sending messages to accounts that their wallets can show to the users. Something like chat.blockscan.com or @xmtp_ or any other way to talk to "addresses".

yoooo @Alchemy maybe you should document what is the max block range supported by eth_getLogs
literally no contract on smart-contract-sanctuary-ethereum using custom storage layout i.e. `layout at` docs.soliditylang.org/en/lat…

very awesome collection of verified contracts btw for the unaware: github.com/tintinweb/smart-c…
did some other project supersede the sanctuary project? seeing last commit a year ago? @nicht_tintin

The amount of AI replies and engagement and spam on this thread is astounding and I don't even that many followers
how often do the eth_newFilter filters live? anyone seeing @Alchemy drop these filters a lot lately in a short time after they are created
