She’d reached out to police Feb. 14, 2017, after she’d learned the girls’ bodies had been found, but didn’t talk with them until Feb. 28, 2017. She told police that she never saw or heard anything strange or saw anyone in the woods that surround the bridge and its trail. I killed Abby and Libby," Allen said during one of the calls. Kathy Allen repeated to her husband for him not to say that, but he continued to state he killed the girls in the call. Part 1 of 2) 2:34 p.m.: Allen defense makes new push to tell Delphi Murders jury about Odinism In the court filing, Allen’s defense team claims testimony by prosecution witnesses in the first 10 days of the trial have “opened the door to admission of Odinism/Norse Paganism/Ritualistic Killing.” The filing cites testimony from Lt. Jerry Holeman from the Indiana State Police. Lt. Holeman testified that sticks placed on the girls were intended to conceal the bodies. Under questioning from the prosecutor, Lt. Holeman testified the sticks may have been placed as a part of “undoing”, a crime scene behavior considered an attempt to symbolically reverse a homicide or restore honor to the victims. Part 1 Fox59) Rozzi’s cross-examination During cross-examination, defense attorney Bradley Rozzi tore into Wala on the stand, questioning her credentials and her interest in the Delphi murders case. Wala told the court she’d followed the case through podcasts and social media and even engaged with posts about it. As the investigation developed, she said she became more involved and used the IDOC database to search for information the public didn’t have access to. She followed podcasts and online chat rooms, contributed information and told people where to go for more information. She became even more interested in the Delphi case after Allen’s arrest.
