Our dedicated cadets and staff were proud to be a part of the #RemembranceSunday service in #Rugeley Town Centre today.
We have had a great day assisting the Bruntingthorpe Lightning Preservation Group at their event this afternoon. It culminated in a fantastic re-heat of one of their aircraft's engines! – at Bruntingthorpe, England
We have been updating our noticeboards with a new activity spotlight area. 🔦 Every few months we'll focus on a new activity. This month is about upcoming changes to the RAFAC Space syllabus. Our OC is also from the @RAFACTRT and will be uploading these posters online soon!

With some of @aircadets ❤️ who make me laugh. I'm Ambassador. I gave Grace my phone to take some pics of the stage while I was interviewing @astro_timpeake and I've just found a load of selfies she'd taken on it too.....😂😂
She'll go far that girl @RIATCDTDET 😂
What have you been up to this weekend? Some of our best cadets have been to RAF Cosford to hone their marching skills, in preparation for the @staffswing Field Day competition next weekend. We're really proud of their progress and are confident they'll do well!
We are delighted to inform you that @1871atc won the drill and banner competitions, and the Wing Field Day competition overall! – at Great Haywood, England

To all the cadets and staff that performed and assisted with the airshow or just visited-thank you for your hard work and your contributions. You were amazing and demonstrated the very best of the RAF Air Cadets. Safe travels home for all. @RAF_Cosford @cosfordairshow @AOC22Group
We had a busy day yesterday, working on the @aircadets recruitment stand at the @cosfordairshow It was great to meet so many of members of the public and help recruit new cadets and volunteers!
4 of our cadets joined @388Squadron & @60LeekSquadron for some more flying at @RAF_Cosford today.
This was made possible by an amazing team of squadron volunteers, and dedicated @8aef volunteer pilots who fly cadets from across the region. Thanks everyone! #VolunteersWeek 🙂

Tonight I acted, for the last time, as President of a CWO Promotion Board alongside the WWO & WgCWO
Having promoted over 125 Cadet Warrant Officers during my service it was a pleasure to promote :
CWO C Mongan @196Walsall
CWO M Hill @1871atc
CWO J Walker @1444Sqn
Well done
We have had some fantastic sporting successes over the past few weekends! We won the @staffswing Athletics Championship last Sunday, then 11 cadets represented @Staffswing at another competition yesterday, helping secure gold against other @WandWAirCadets Wings!
Our OC was delighted to present our cadet of the month a gift voucher for outstanding achievement in April. Cadet Gathergood was a great role model to other cadets on our recent camp, and has also consistently maintained a high standard of uniform.
We have had a busy weekend!
On Saturday 19 Cadets finished a comprehensive @stjohnambulance first aid course and on Sunday, 12 cadets had a fantastic practical air experience flight at @8aef at RAF Cosford.
All in all, our cadets gained 26 new qualifications!

35 of our cadets have been at @RAF_Leeming this week for our 7th annual adventurous activity camp. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few days to find out about the amazing activities we got up to! :)
We were delighted to present five more cadets with their Essential First Aid badge this evening!
This qualification gives them the vital skills needed to save a life across a variety of emergency situations.
Thankyou to our cadet NCOs who assisted with delivery of this course.
