I was recently called a Neo Malthusian for simply stating the elephant in the room “8 billion people, people.” Mass agriculture, chemicals, and engineered food is the only way to continue to feed 8 billion people and more. I like @elonmusk idea on becoming an interplanetary species. However, he advocates for increasing population. If this is our future then maybe earth becomes home to the Uber rich. 😉 I highly recommend reading up on Thomas Malthus.
Destroying property and hurting people all in the name of saving the planet and the environment is not what I'm about. It's so easy to destroy things. Lot more difficult and time consuming to create and nurture.
