Bro @NoChillGilZero
1) Raptors gave up BI, Dick who avg 10 minutes a game, & two 14yo who just left middle school.
They kept ALL of their main rotational pieces.
2) This trade is basically a Kawhi for BI swap.
Kawhi not avg 10ppg like BI. 😂
3) Clippers window is a decade away
Gilbert Arenas says the only thing that has changed with Toronto is the illusion of a 35 year old guy that’s only going to be there for a year or two:
“You traded all your young pieces with all your young pieces. The future of your team is at the Clippers now. You got him for a year or two and he’s gone, now what you got? Nothing. I thought he would come there add with those guys and teach those guys how to be great and they can move on. You got rid of three or four young people that’s gonna build with Scottie Barnes that’s gonna move the needle together.”
This is true the Raptors are putting a lot of trust in a guy that’s 35 and injury prone to come into this stack Eastern Conference to win a championship.
Bro @ellylacocoa18 come to the Blue Jays! You and Vladdy together would be so🔥

Done deal: The LA Clippers and Raptors have both agreed to complete the trade sending Kawhi Leonard to Toronto for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, two unprotected first-round picks, one first-round pick swap and two second-rounders, per ESPN sources. The sides will now schedule a trade call.
Five first round picks is NUTS LMAOOO bye Clippers.
Anyway, finalize the trade. Y'all need the picks, man.
BREAKING: The NBA has ruled on the Los Angeles Clippers in for salary cap circumvention investigations on Kawhi Leonard after yearlong probe -- stripping the franchise of 5 first-round picks, issuing a $30 million fine to owner Steve Ballmer and suspensions for Ballmer, Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker, sources tell ESPN.
Kawhi Leonard will have to pay $700,000 in restitution for improper benefits by the Clippers for his uncle and former business rep, Dennis Robertson. No contract void or suspension for Leonard. And Robertson -- who was fired by Leonard in June -- is being banned by the NBA from all business dealings.

Sometimes you don’t even know when you’ve already watched the end.
You had to be there. And now it’s over.
Ngl Bobby this aint it. He didnt say anything disrespectful for real. He just outlined the reality of the situation. Giannis is the centerpiece of the deal. Everyone else...you, Herro, etc, are all collateral. If Giannis don't get traded, you don't get traded.
Why be sensitive?
Yo Norm @npowell2404 , I always respected ya game from a distance. We in the same draft. Shout out to 2015. Only bout 9 of us left but keep my name out your mouth brother. I ain’t no throw in piece. From champ to champ respectfully king. Be blessed brother.

Toronto ❤️❤️❤️ So many great memories with amazing people that i will cherish forever! Getting to represent an entire country was truly an honour that i never took for granted! Love you all!
NBA don't want the trade to go through. They willing delayed the investigation because they had no real incentive to come to a conclusion.
Now they do.
As soon as the trade went down, NBA started sending a full team of investigators & threatened the Raptors with penalties.
"I can see a world in which Kawhi Leonard is back on the Clippers if this trade doesn't go through, and the Clippers, quite frankly, are fine with that.” 🤯

When is training camp? September 29th?
There is actually ZERO chance this gets dragged to training camp. If it does, it's actual malpractice from the league.
It seems possible that Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick will still technically be Raptors when training camp starts in October while Kawhi Leonard remains a Clipper, per @johnhollinger
The situation remains in complete limbo.
