Wet Bulb Temperature is a rarely known but important number - the temperature on a thermometer with a wet cloth over it. If it is above 35 degrees it will kill you! This site shows that type of temperature - as it is today - on a global map. zoom.earth/maps/temperature-…

Conspiracy theorists are not exactly stupid, but they tend to lack the ability to understand complex things, or it hurts their brain to try. So they will go for a simplistic answer instead, even if it is daft. How did we get to the moon? Too hard to understand, therefore fake!

Robot ducks secretly “forming a society”? Viral claims of consciousness and secret communication. Zero credible evidence. Something cool in Shenzhen, China. Nighttime robocar deliveries of goods. Deliveries during the day are taxing on infrastructure. At 3am roads are empty. Expect the planet to start subsidising any viable night deliveries.

Who is excited for the Europa Clipper? 2031 it might find evidence of life on an icy Jupiter moon. It is already on its way... Way more exciting than Elon getting a hardon over the stupid idea of humans on Mars...

A hole on the Moon just turned out to be the front door to a 50 km tunnel. Japan’s Kaguya orbiter first spotted it. A pit about 50 metres wide and 50 metres deep, sitting in the Marius Hills on the Moon’s near side. Then JAXA pointed the probe’s radar underground. The echoes came back with something huge: a lava tube roughly 100 metres wide, running about 50 km, and still intact. No collapse. Scientists think it was carved by volcanic activity around 3.5 billion years ago. There may even be ice or water locked in the rocks inside. That’s why JAXA thinks it could become a lunar base. Shelter from radiation, micrometeorites and brutal temperature swings, all built in. Source: JAXA / ISAS, Geophysical Research Letters

Off-grid? Awesome! But are you "detached"? Is any part of your life something that AI can destroy over the internet?

Hate communists, love Putin? I'm not sure that MAGA voters are going to think this makes any kind of sense.
Top Trump Aide Steve Witkoff, to Vladimir Putin: "You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. I salute you, and I commend you."
