I’m so excited and grateful to announce my commitment to Concord University to continue my academic and basketball career! First, I want to thank my parents for their endless love, support, and sacrifices that have helped me get to this point. I couldn’t have done this without you. To all of my coaches who have pushed me, believed in me, and helped me grow as both a player and a person, thank you for being part of my journey. A special thank you to Coach T, Coach Morgan, and the entire Concord coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. This journey took an unexpected turn with my ACL injury, but your continued support and confidence in me throughout my recovery have meant more than you know. I’m incredibly grateful that you see my potential beyond this setback. This isn’t exactly how I imagined my senior year going, but I’ve learned that sometimes the journey looks different than you planned. I’m thankful for everyone who has been part of mine, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. I am a Mountain Lion! @CU_WBB @SRAHSATHLETICS @SRHS_GBB @20jsteely @quinnp43_ @BESportsTeam @ChrisBurtch3033 @ #Committed #comingbackstronger

We need to get away from the culture surrounding “circuit” and “open period” AAU where kids are taught that their value is tied to scholarship offers and rankings, while being surrounded by people who constantly reinforce that lie. Some of the best SCHOLARSHIP players I’ve ever coached had very little recruiting attention early on. What separated them wasn’t hype, social media, or fake exposure - it was work ethic, consistency, toughness, and a genuine love for the game. They became great college players because they developed, not because someone marketed them. Don’t put your future in the hands of conmen selling dreams. Don’t believe the lie that your worth is determined by “offers.” And don’t believe the adults telling you that your entire life needs to revolve around college athletics. For many of these people, once you are no longer useful to their program, you’ll never hear from them again. Basketball is part of life - not your entire identity. Develop your game. Be a great teammate. Take school seriously. Build discipline and character. If college basketball happens, great. But don’t let an industry built on hype convince you your value depends on it.

Coaches play players who they trust the most - if you want more minutes, gain more trust

Our youth system is beyond broken. We’ve devalued real coaches. Kids aren’t developed, they are overtrained, burned out, forced to specialize early & pressured to win at all costs. Structural change is needed. We don’t teach the game anymore! We promote the game & it’s killing us

Our 2026 CASH BASH is scheduled for August 8th from 2pm-6pm! Tickets will be available soon! Seeking sponsors for basket raffle, large raffle items, or cash prizes! #boosters #DefendTheRock
