Since then, we have experienced an influx of calls to 211, and wait times may be higher than usual as our team works to respond as quickly as possible. We also want to clarify that eligibility for direct assistance requires that someone in the household has access and functional needs (AFN) and is electricity dependent for health and safety reasons. If you do need information on where to get power, water, health-related needs you can call 211, text your zip code to 898211, or visit 211bayarea.org. Stay safe!
