All kinds of productivity apps like office software that have implemented AI functionality that is rigid, inflexible, and time consuming. Used to be able to add text box then type in it. Now have to get the AI to add it. And put in its version.

Perhaps bc I am not in tech, my use of ai is tangential at most and whenever I encounter it, it has made the experience worse. My only exposure is ugly flyers and incorrect google answers.

I’ve given ChatGPT/LLMs a handful of chances over the last 3 years and it’s been awful every time. Wasn’t helpful at ALL during grad school, AI overviews in general (esp. Google) are often outright wrong, ask it to identify something in a video (ex: a song) and it can’t do it -
