Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice files for bankruptcy with more than $3.45 million in debt, and even his $160,000 Super Bowl ring is listed as collateral.
The 26-year-old says roughly $2.1 million of his debt stems from lawsuits, including legal battles tied to a 2024 high-speed crash in Dallas and assault allegations from an ex-girlfriend.
Despite signing a $6.5 million contract with Kansas City, Rice reports just $677,054 in personal assets in his Chapter 7 filing.
Court documents also show Rice owes nearly $980,000 to his largest creditor as part of a civil settlement related to the crash. He lists just $13,640 in checking accounts while disputing certain debts tied to pending lawsuits.
