Our last Summit put a full rose ceremony in front of a room of IT and security leaders. Reality TV was the theme and we raided the whole genre for it. A Hot Ones hot seat, speed dating run like The Bachelor, a Survivor showdown, a little Flava Flav, a little Snooki, a red carpet worthy of Paris Hilton. Ridiculous on paper. It worked in the room, because tech leaders lean in when the setting has some personality, and they remember it long after the badge comes off.
