Points Iowa State has allowed in the last 4 Iowa State games away from Jack Trice Stadium that @cytyguy1992 has gone to: 45 45 38 39 Average of 41.8 ppg allowed. It's clear who's to blame :)

Fwiw, no I don't think they lose out. The schedule is easier down the stretch and 5, 6, or 7 wins is possible. The logistics of what I said regarding TV contacts, realignment, and importance to be competitive at football still stands.

If Iowa State loses out, you have to fire Jimmy Rogers after 1 year. In realignment era without SEC or B1G money, you cannot afford to suck at the sport that's 75-80% of the conference TV deals. The team looks less competitive every week and the team will to compete is gone.
