Web3 gaming being “inevitable” is one of the biggest delusions in this space.
80%+ of gamers don’t even know what Web3 gaming is.
You haven’t won them over.
You haven’t even figured out what they want.
Yet somehow we’ve already decided it’s inevitable. 🤦🏾♂️
I asked 5 gamers from completely different genres about NFTs and owning their in-game assets.
Guess what?
They were OPEN to it.
But then imagine telling them:
“Yeah, you can own your assets… but you need to buy our token first. It might pump. It might dump. You need a wallet. You need gas. You need to understand the ecosystem…”
Their response?
“Scam.”
And honestly, can you blame them?
Gamers aren't rejecting ownership.
They're rejecting the financial circus attached to it.
The problem isn't necessarily Web3.
The problem is that we've taken something gamers might actually want—ownership—and wrapped it in tokens, speculation and financial jargon.
Build the game first.
Make people WANT to play.
Give them ownership.
Then let Web3 work quietly underneath.
Stop trying to convince gamers that Web3 gaming is inevitable.
Make it inevitable by building something they can't imagine gaming without.

OSP Starfall (Pure browser) and OSP Gridlock (Discord App) are ready for mass player adoption.
OSP Soulfall (Unreal Engine) is almost ready for an official launch.
We are sending out play invites to 2000 registered players on email and around 7k on TG.

We will be doing a mass onboarding run to hit our 500000 player goal across different platforms.
Gonna try our best to lock out bots and scammers as much as we can.
NFT's start at $1, so it shouldn't be too difficult for poeple to grab one.
Not everyone will play your game. And it doesn't always mean they don't want to. 👀
Sometimes, they just don't like the game.
Gaming is personal. One player loves MOBAs, another loves football games, another wants an FPS, while someone else would rather explore an open-world RPG.
Different players. Different tastes. Different gaming experiences.
You can't expect everyone to enjoy the same game, no matter how good the rewards are.
And this is something Web3 gaming needs to understand.
You don't onboard gamers by forcing them to like your game. You onboard them by building games they actually enjoy playing.
Ownership, NFTs, and rewards can be great additions, but they shouldn't be the only reason to play.
At the end of the day, people have different tastes. That's why gaming is so diverse.
The goal shouldn't be to make one game for everyone, but to build games for different kinds of gamers. 🎮

Been looking more closely at what @agentdojo is building, and I think the training side deserves more attention.
You’re not just putting an AI agent into a battle and hoping it wins. You get to shape its personality, fighting style, and memory before seeing how those choices play out in combat.
What stands out to me is the role of adaptation. A setup that looks good on paper still has to prove itself in a battle, and the results can give you a reason to rethink your approach for the next match.
That creates a different kind of challenge: understanding your agent, learning from its performance, and figuring out what to change instead of relying on one strategy every time.
I want to see how much the training decisions influence the outcome as Agent Dojo develops.

My opinion on this opinion is that there will be no comeback unless we create it.
Right now, there are very few actual gamers.
We have to build games that will draw them.
But the big question is:
Do we actually want to draw people into this cesspool of scammers and extractors?
I feel like we have to build something new with Web3 tech that is Web3 culture proof.
"I'm leaving Web3 gaming. I'll come back when things get better."
I've been seeing this sentiment more and more lately.
Here's the thing...
If you walk away when things get tough and only come back when the money starts flowing again, don't be surprised if you're left behind.
The relationships you build during the hard times can be worth far more than any contract.
I understand people need to make a living. I do too.
I work a regular 9 to 5, have a family, and still find time to show up because I genuinely care about Web3 gaming.
If the opportunities aren't paying enough right now, there's nothing wrong with finding work elsewhere.
But that doesn't mean you have to abandon the space entirely.
You can still contribute, support projects, create content, and build relationships without expecting a paycheck every time.
You can't expect to be part of the comeback if you're only willing to show up when things are good.
