There's something special about Friday evenings.
The workweek is coming to an end, the sun is settling over the horizon, and for a little while, the world seems to slow down.
Maybe this week has been wonderful. Maybe it's been exhausting. Or maybe it's been one of those weeks when you've simply done your best to get through each day.
Whatever kind of week you've had, I hope you'll take a moment tonight to appreciate the beautiful blessing found in this Scripture.
โThe LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.โ
What a comforting thought. The Creator of heaven and earth cares about us personally. He sees our struggles, hears our prayers, and knows the burdens we carry, even when we haven't spoken a word about them.
And the peace He offers isn't dependent on everything in our lives going perfectly.
It's the kind of peace that can steady our hearts when circumstances are uncertain. The kind that reminds us we're loved when we feel overlooked. The kind that helps us find rest even when tomorrow still holds unanswered questions.
Sometimes we spend so much time thinking about what went wrong during the week that we forget to recognize what went right.
The prayers that were answered. The unexpected kindness. The little moments of laughter. The strength we found when we weren't sure we had any left.
And even on the difficult days, God was there.
Tonight, we don't have to carry every worry into the weekend. We can be grateful for what we've accomplished, forgive ourselves for what remains unfinished, and trust God with the things beyond our control.
Let's pray: ๐
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us safely through another week.
Thank You for the blessings we've received, the challenges You've helped us overcome, and the quiet ways You've reminded us of Your love.
Lord, as this Friday evening settles around us, we ask for Your peace to fill our hearts and homes.
For those who are weary, provide rest. For those who are struggling with illness, bring healing and comfort. For those carrying grief, loneliness, or worry, wrap them in Your loving presence.
Help us release the frustrations of the past week and welcome the weekend with grateful hearts.
Watch over our families and loved ones. Guide those who are traveling, protect those who are working tonight, and bring comfort to anyone who feels alone.
May Your face shine upon us, Your grace sustain us, and Your peace remain with us through the night.

As the sun sets on another Friday, remember that you don't have to have a perfect life to experience God's perfect peace.
Sometimes the greatest blessing is simply knowing that whatever tomorrow brings, we are never beyond His love and care.

My Dad and I witnessed 3 UFOs back in the 60s.
They came together one by one and formed a triangle, hovering. They were silent.
After about 20 minutes, one backed away from the others and made a 90deg turn and sped off at an amazing speed back into space!
Then a minute or 2 later, the other 2 did the same.
It was weird because I never asked "What is that, Dad?"
Instead I asked "If they asked you to go with them, would you go?"
Dad replied that his curiosity would require him to go.
"You would leave Mom and us Kids?"
I was sad about that, but I understood the curiosity part. ๐
After that, I believed that we are not alone.

The secretary of state then issued guidance barring them as a backup way to prove who you are.

A 16 year old in a school in Malaysia, live-streamed attacking his teacher and other classmates with a hatchet.
He taped the phone to his forehead in the bathroom, then went on the attack.
You can see the proximity of attack with the teacher.
Thankfully, only minor injuries were reported.
Other students subdued the attacker until police arrived and detained him.

A 29 year old male from Oregon, attempts to register in a school as a 17 year old.
Makayla Ray Craig tries to enroll into Maple Grove High School in Minnesota as a q7 year old homeless kid.
Staff immedia felt something was off and ckntacted police.
He was spotted in a public parking ramp and detained.
The kicker. In 2023, he was convicted of sexual abuse of a minor in Oregon, where he successfully enrolled and attended school as a 15 year old.

Self's campaign says he was the target at a veterans chili cook-off fundraiser on Oct. 17. And do you know what that man did?
