Kashiwagi Yuki describes AKB48 Ito Momoka as a 'Super Ace'
"Itomomo really is amazing. I know I always end up saying this... You know how idol groups usually have members who are really good at sports? Like girls who say, 'I used to play sports'. However, Itomomo is the Center, she's popular, and she's probably the most athletic member in the entire group, too. We've never really had someone with that kind of combination before.
She's an absolute Super Ace!"

Kashiwagi Yuki jokingly suggests she might've been the 'cancer' that held AKB48 back from its revival.
"There's nobody left from the AKB48 of the past. I think even the fanbase has probably changed by about half now. Some people who used to come to see the group a really long time ago are actually coming back because the members are different now.
It's gotten to the point where I actually think, 'maybe I was the cancer'. I feel like I was the last remaining member from the old era. But I really think AKB48 has been doing incredibly well over the past few years."

AKB48 Iwatate Saho:
"When I first joined, I certainly never imagined that I would continue doing this for 15 years. So even I find it quite surreal. However, it's precisely because there have been people supporting me that I've been able to keep going for this long.
I believe there must be a reason why I'm still here. I didn't consciously decide to keep doing this for as long as possible. I truly believe there's a reason why I'm still here. So I've decided to continue being an idol until I feel completely satisfied with what I've achieved.
I actually ended up 18th Place for the Oshi Seats competition. I was 17th during the preliminary results, so it was really frustrating. I've been Senbatsu in the (Nantetatte AKB48) Album, but I still can't give up on my dream of making it to Senbatsu in a Single, so I'll keep working towards that goal.
I hope to continue performing at the Theater as much as possible while continuing to do things my own way. Please continue supporting me from now on!"
AKB48 Sato Airi looks back on the 'Oshi Seats' competition, which resembled Senbatsu Sousenkyo.
"When I first heard about it, I hated the idea so much that I actually called the staff in tears. Those of us from the 17th Generation onwards belong to an era that has never experienced events like Senbatsu Sousenkyo or Janken Tournament, which are often described as classic AKB48 events.
I thought the idea of having a section filled entirely with fans who love and support you was wonderful, but having our positions determined by the results felt very much like a Sousenkyo. I thought that perhaps this was part of what makes AKB48 what it is, so I came to accept it."
―― Do you think you'll do it again next year?
"No, maybe once every 20 years..."

AKB48 shares apology after Japanese fans attending the 'Ayo Senyumlah' event yesterday have failed to follow the event rules, causing incidents at the venue.
"We will take strict action against those who fail to comply with event rules. We apologise for having to issue a statement like this, but we believe it is important to address the matter to ensure that opportunities for interaction between AKB48 and its sister groups, both in Japan and overseas, can continue for many years to come."
