This angle shows how bad the decision by Brock was. Defender had great position and cowing had no chance to work back to that

Josh Allen is the only QB allowed to throw a game losing TD and stay in the MVP race

Brock Purdy lost the 49ers the game today with two costly interceptions. His MVP campaign is also over. 6-1 and they miss a big opportunity before the bye...

Zero pressure, soft zone coverage. Did Steve Wilks come back?

#49ers pressured Falcons QB Michael Penix on 3 of 34 drop backs today. That 9% pressure rate is their lowest since week 16 of 2024 against Miami (also 9%).

Garrett Wilson letting Geno Smith hear it on the sideline. Wilson has 2 catches today with the game in the 4th quarter.

There was enough time in game to run the ball a little but of course kyle steals away from it again after having 100 yards in the first half

That's 23 unanswered points for the Falcons.

Michael Penix Jr., for example, is at only 5.9 yards per attempt 鈥斅爓hich is terrible in a vacuum (would rank #33 of 33 QBs). The Falcons are also at only 3.8 yards per carry. But Atlanta hasn't needed to be more explosive because the there's been a floor of yardage to take for free. No giveaway danger. The 49ers need to force the issue with coverage and/or pass rush or they'll just die a slow death today
