“The difference is belief”
Not a new player
Not a new coach or GM
Not a new approach
Not a new mechanical adjustment
Not a new team philosophy
Not a new team
Just belief.
RT @WestonLawing: Gritty 2027 with tools. Clean they get on the corners. Bat. Will. Play. At the next level. @cjbbaseball27

Our biggest recruiting event is coming up July 29th. This is the best time to get in front of our entire coaching staff. We signed 5 players last year from this event. Looking to sign many more this year🚩@AbbeyBaseball @PlaynSportsUSA

2027 1B/3B @cjbbaseball27 of @gcsbaseball1 continues to be one of my favorite corner infield prospects. He's gotten a lot of quality experience playing against some of the top Private School programs in the State the past couple seasons
Bat is dynamic, creates a lot of energy. Buries his eyes into the swing. Stays connected, great swing path. Top Exit Velo was 95 MPH, averaged 92 MPH on 6/10. XBH pop. I got to see it play in game the last couple seasons.
Plays an above average 1B, baseball IQ and good feel around the bag. Arm is up to 83 MPH. I have attached 2026 Varsity Highlight Tape with both offensive and defensive clips in the thread. Playing for @nextlevelbbnc this Summer
3.79 GPA, solid student. Good character, proactive. Interested in studying Business or Finance

Congratulations to this week's Ion Outdoors Player of the Week, @gavinms212427 of @GBraves1
The @RedRaidersBase Grad & @MasonBaseball Commit was 6 for 14 w/ 3 HRs, 8 RBIs, 6 Rs, 2 BB, and 3 SB vs some solid competition (Shelby, Asheville, Cherryville, and Burke). Smith is a prime example of how D1 talent can flourish in @legionbaseball

We’re excited to announce Weston Lawing as the new Head Baseball Coach at GCS. Coach Lawing brings outstanding experience, a passion for developing young men, and a commitment to Christ. He’ll lead our varsity program while helping build and develop from Jr. Eagles through HS. ⚾️
Dear 704 Sports Academy Family and Friends,
At 704 Sports Academy we are committed to the total development of the player, giving them the tools they need to compete at the highest level. Development takes place during training sessions, lessons, and practices. Translating our knowledge to the field is what makes 704 the premier baseball facility in the county. We humbly take pride in our track record that proves our players gain the ability to retain and use their ever-expanding developmental skills to “compete with freedom” on ball fields all across the greater Gaston area.
With that, we are excited to announce Weston Lawing to the @gcsbaseball1 field. Congrats, Weston on being named Head Baseball Coach and Director of Baseball at Gaston Christian School.
Weston will continue his duties as Owner of 704 Sports Academy; focusing heavily on strategic growth. 704 has been enjoying momentum in all areas of the county in all levels of baseball/softball, and we want to continue that momentum.
No operations will be affected by this endeavor other than some minor schedule changes.
We look forward to watching Weston compete on the field AND develop athletes in and outside of the 704 Sports Academy facility.
COMPETE WITH FREEDOM
704 Sports Academy
