I'm learning to draw backgrounds for my new comic projects. This is part of that process. I felt frustrated when I couldn't draw backgrounds for my previous comic, and that's what motivated me to work on this skill.

Jett in a Denver Nuggets jersey. I’m already dreading painting all the veins though. It’s gonna be a pretty tedious job.

Claire has the particularity of making people want to try her workout routines, and finding soon that, yeah she’s as powerful as she looks. Which helps more people come to the gym, and inspire people to go beyond what they can handle.

WIP. Started out rooting for the Bulls, followed my favorite to the Kings. And now, I guess the Nuggets are the final stop on my journey!

I really like this kind of style. Oversized everything. I was thinking about trying to draw a cityscape, but I ran out of energy before I could finish it.

Finally finished a coloring piece that was tough for me. If it were football, this kind of toxic player would be the first one I'd cut from the roster.

Trying a workflow where I only draw the outer line art, then use an airbrush to define the muscle separation. It's pretty time-consuming.

When drawing curly hair, using a dedicated brush can make it look much more convincing. To be honest though, you can get a pretty similar look just by scribbling with your usual brush. It just takes a lot more work. (The two muscular women are just there as clickbait.)
