1972년, 쏘련방과 펩시콜라(주)간의 공급 및 유통 협약이 맺어지고,
이후 1974년도에 노보시비르스크에 소련 최초의 펩시콜라 희석&병입 공장이 개설되면서,
펩시콜라는 쏘련에서 매우 흔히 찾아볼 수 있는 음료로 자리잡게 됩니다.
여담이지만 당시엔 루블과 달러의 직접 교환환전이 불가하여, 련방측은 대금으로서 스톨리치나야 보드카를 공급하는 물물교환 방식으로 거래했다고~
