Alamos just reported Q3, and its AISC jumped 42% in a year. $1,956/oz, up from $1,375. With gold realized at $4,258, that's still about $2,302 of margin on every ounce. Production dipped to 119K oz from 141.7K as Young-Davidson ran slower after its June seismic event. Revenue still rose 10% to $510M, adjusted EPS climbed to $0.44 from $0.37, and FCF came in at $75.6M while funding three builds. Now the other side. ⛏️ Island Gold District just had a record quarter. Q4 is guided to 140K to 160K oz at lower costs. Cash is $597M, plus $160M from the Turkish sale landed Oct 9. Lynn Lake is on track for first production in H1 2029, and the target is about 1M oz a year by 2030. The catch. The Island Gold shaft slipped about a quarter to mid-2027. $AGI closed at $31.67, up 5.8% in three sessions, right under its downtrend line and about 43% below its March high. Call is today at 10 A.M. ET. Imagine the FCF with $10K gold. Are you a buyer or seller? $AGI $AGI.TO #Gold #Mining Not financial advice.

Eldorado just reported Q3, and it burned $191M of FCF. Strip out the two mines it's building and it generated $98M. That gap is the entire $EGO debate. The base business held up. Revenue rose 18% to $512M and adjusted EPS climbed to $0.49 from $0.41. AISC came in at $2,050/oz, up from $1,679 a year ago, but with gold realized at $4,326 that's still about $2,276 of margin on every ounce. The builds are where it hurts. Skouries took longer and cost more than planned, and the new CEO admitted it plainly. I respect that. 2026 production guidance was cut to 425K to 475K oz, down from 495K to 600K, and cash is down to $397M against nearly $2B of debt. Now the other side. ⛏️ Skouries and McIlvenna Bay are both guided to commercial production late Q4. Skouries is planned for about 240K gold equivalent ounces a year for 20 years, and it's already sitting on stockpiles holding roughly 176K oz of gold. The stock closed at $34.46, up 9% in two sessions, right under its downtrend line. Call is tomorrow at 9 A.M. ET. Red flag, or the price of building two mines right before they turn on? $EGO $ELD.TO #Gold #Mining #Eldorado Not financial advice.

⛏️ Silver miners just did something the metal hasn't managed all week. They bounced. $SIL, the big silver miners ETF, closed Friday at $74.06. Today it closed at $77.53. That's +4.7% in three sessions. Silver itself is down a hair over the same stretch, still parked near $54 and its lowest level since last November. One of these two is wrong about what comes next. I've learned to trust the miners when they break away like this. Prove me wrong. #Silver #MiningStocks Not financial advice.

🇵🇦 First Quantum just dropped Q3 after the close, and the mine the market buried on Sept 30 is shipping copper again. Cobre Panamá made 13,229 tonnes of copper this quarter from stockpiles ALONE. All three trains are running and two ships of concentrate have already sailed. EBITDA more than doubled to $844M. $FM.TO still closed at $35.89 today, 20% under its $45.12 close the day before the halt. It's not all clean. Copper guidance got trimmed and the cost range moved up. The real catalyst sits on President Mulino's desk. His own commission recommended exploring a new deal, including a potential restart that pays for an orderly closure. I sold half on Oct 14. The half I kept is riding on his answer. #Copper #FirstQuantum Not financial advice. Disclosure: Shareholder.

Kinross ( $KGC ) margin per ounce is up 19%. The stock is down 41% from its January high. Those two lines don't belong in the same sentence. Q3 is out. Kinross sold gold at $4,249/oz and kept a $2,747 margin on every one, up from $2,310. Adjusted EPS rose to $0.50 from $0.44. They've bought back about 5% of the company since April 2025, $810M of it this year alone. The 2026 payout just went up to 50% of FCF, with $1.9B in net cash, and no debt due until 2033. Fair knock, production fell 16% and FCF dropped to $281M from $687M on sale timing, and heavier capex. Still, the stock closed at $22.98, pressing right into its downtrend line. Call is tomorrow @ 8:00 A.M. ET. Broken stock, or mispriced one? 🤔 $KGC $K.TO #Gold #Mining #Kinross Not financial advice.

Agnico Eagle just dropped Q3 earnings, and the buyback tells you what they think $AEM is worth. In Q3 they bought back 1.3M of their own shares at an average $192.60. Today it closed at $183.11. You can buy it 4.9% cheaper than the company did. And they weren't stretching. 814,012 oz of gold at an AISC of $1,648, sold at $4,264. That's a $2,616 margin on every single ounce. $852M in FCF, even after stocking up fuel and supplies for the Nunavut sealift. $478M straight back to shareholders. One quarter. Gold is down more than 20% since January and they still clear about $2,400 an ounce. Output slipped 6%. Costs crept up. The cash machine didn't care. 💰 Call is tomorrow, 11 AM ET. So who's wrong, management at $192.60 or the market at $183.11? $AEM.TO #Gold #AgnicoEagle Not financial advice.

Who took advantage of the 25% to 29% gains?..... On Monday I said $VRT got cut in half for no good reason. It had just closed at $194.32. Today, after earnings, it closed at $242.94. That's +25% in 3 sessions, and it blew through both levels I flagged, $220 and $240, in a single day. Next stop $260, or a pullback to retest $220? 🔥 Not financial advice.
$VRT got cut in half and I don't think most people know why. Vertiv makes the power and cooling gear for AI data centers. It hit $379.93 in May. Closed Friday at $194.32. Down 49%. Nothing went wrong at the company. Guidance wasn't cut. The whole AI trade just got scared about who's paying for all these data centers. CoreWeave bonds near 15%, Meta spending even more, and last Thursday $GEV dropped 11%, $VRT 8%, $ETN 6% in one day. Meanwhile Vertiv raised full year guidance in July to $6.65 to $6.75 EPS and $2.4B to $2.6B free cash flow. Forward P/E went from 55x at the top to about 24.5x now. That's cheaper than its own 5 year average. But I'm not going to pretend the chart looks good. It's under every moving average that matters. RSI is 27.6 so it's oversold, but there's no base yet. Friday's low was $187.24 and I've got $180 to $190 as the real floor. $220 and $240 above. Earnings are Wednesday before the open. Street wants $1.82 EPS on $3.75B revenue. Last time they beat on EPS, missed revenue by a hair and it still dropped 17% in a day. I care more about what they say on orders than the beat itself. I'm not touching it before the print. If $180 to $190 holds after, I'll start a small DCA and add over $220. So what's it going to be after Wednesday? Breakdown under $180 or breakout over $220? 👇 Not financial advice.

The Fed held today, and two members actually voted for a HIKE. Most of my small caps took that personally and closed flat to down a few percent. $HYMC didn't flinch. Closed at $17.44, up 3.2% and 3 cents off the high of the day. That's +13% in two sessions, and last Thursday's entire drop is gone. It also just closed above the downtrend line from the late September high, two days in a row. Next wall is $17.57, the Oct 13 close. Clear it and this stops being a bounce. 👀 #HYMC #Fed Not financial advice. Disclosure: Shareholder.

Silver hasn't been this cheap next to gold in 11 months. One ounce of gold buys 75.3 ounces of silver right now. On January 26 it dipped to 44. Since that day gold is off 20%. Silver is off 53%. The ratio just blew through its July high of 71.8 and its RSI is above 70. That's STRETCHED. Fed decision at 2. Either silver finally fights back, or this ratio runs to 80. I'm not selling a single silver miner into this. 🥈 #Silver #Gold Not financial advice.

It's hard to believe but we are weeks away from kicking off the next turkey drive! A lot of needs in the community; also arranging for 200 meals to go out to the community downtown next week. and another 150 for a holiday meal for unhoused folks north of downtown; our second year providing these to a great charity. Thank you @mohamadfakih8 @ParamountFoods and A for everything!

The Bank of Canada just hiked to 2.5%. On Fed day. Central banks are still fighting inflation, and that's the backdrop gold was built for. A firmer loonie may trim CAD gold prices for TSX miners short term, but the bigger trend hasn't changed. Is the Fed next? 🤔 #Gold #Mining #BankofCanada Not financial advice.

BlackRock just slipped below 5% in $HYMC. In July I posted that BlackRock grew its stake 43.6% to 4,660,039 shares. Fair is fair, so here's the other side. A filing last night shows BlackRock held 4,282,133 shares at Sept 30, down from 4,660,039 at June 30. That's 377,906 fewer shares, about 8% of the position, and it takes them to 4.6% of Hycroft. Two things worth keeping in mind. The snapshot is from Sept 30, before the Q3 results that sent the stock up 9.8% to $16.90 yesterday. And Eric Sprott still holds 37.4M shares per his last Form 4, roughly 40% of the company. Which stake tells you more about where this goes, BlackRock's trim or Sprott's 40%? #HYMC #Silver Not financial advice. Disclosure: Shareholder.
