Rats fleeing a sinking ship
Charlie’s vision for Turning Point Action was always bigger than one election. He wanted a permanent, year-round operation with the people, relationships, and resources to compete in every cycle. He knew there would be victories and setbacks because he had experienced both and that’s why he built for both. Last night, we saw races Republicans once won handily by double digits come down to the thinnest of margins, and in some cases, flip entirely. Democratic socialist candidates made the cost of gas, groceries, and housing the center of their campaigns. And voters responded at the ballot box. A rising stock market doesn’t mean much when nearly half of Americans don’t have a 401K and just want to put gas in their trucks, put food on the table, and provide a good life for their families. But every time socialism has tried it has failed, because socialism concentrates economic power in the hands of the government instead of trusting individuals to build prosperity for themselves and their families. That’s fundamentally at odds with the free enterprise, individual liberty, and opportunity at the heart of the American experiment. We can disagree with the solutions voters were offered while still recognizing why they were looking elsewhere for answers. Exit polls clearly showed that the American people are concerned about the state of the economy and the war in Iran. This isn’t a surprise to us because we’ve heard the same concerns from our students around the country for months and we’ve been concerned about it too. The biggest mistake conservatives can make right now would be to allow this moment to become another exercise in finger-pointing, in-fighting, or trying to secure their own political preservation. That does not solve the problems the American people are demanding be solved. Turning Point was born out of a moment just like this following the Obama era, which was itself a reaction to the political frustration of the early 2000’s. Our history reminds us that moments of disappointment can actually be moments of renewal and infinite opportunity. Americans are not looking for labels and don’t subscribe to unquestioned party loyalty anymore either. They will support the candidates who can both speak to their concerns and deliver on what THEY need and dream about for their families. And those needs are the same as they have always been: an affordable home, safe communities, and the hope that the next generation will inherit a country with more opportunity than the last generation did. That is what the American dream has promised to all of us. I miss Charlie so much every single day, but especially on a day like today. He always said that when things are going well, we need to stay humble. And when things aren’t going the way we want, we need to stay positive, keep our faith, and get back to work. That’s exactly what we’re doing over at Turning Point today. We are going to listen, study the results, and spend the next two years making the case for how conservative, free market solutions, and a renewed focus on our country’s founding principles can address the problems the American people face. And we’re going to keep building the permanent infrastructure Charlie envisioned, strengthening our relationships in communities across the country, and preparing for 2028 and beyond. If you woke up feeling discouraged today, there’s more important work to do than ever. Our principles haven’t changed and neither has our mission. To every staff member, student, volunteer, and ballot chaser who gave their time and energy to this mission this cycle, thank you. I know Charlie would be unbelievably proud of each and every one of you, and I am, too. Onward. šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

We must never forget the men who disregarded Russell Brand's victims and those who continue to defend him, even after hearing the evidence and witness statements. They are a danger to women and must be watched very closely.

Why are the media trying to push this narrative?
I wrote about @Reese10Angel : ā€œThey’ll keep making memes, fake quotes and pretending Reese hasn’t elevated to maybe the best two-way big in the league outside of five-time MVP A’ja Wilson. But that’s her ceiling now: best in the game.ā€ andscape.com/features/angel-…

.499 on lay ups is so bad
Despite giving Angel a ton of love for being DPOY & All-Star, some of her fans were mad that we said ā€œimproving her touchā€ & making her lay ups are the next steps for her development. This season, she shot 32.5% from 3-10 feet (touch) and missed over half of her lay ups.

If she didn’t beef Clark in college she wouldn’t have anywhere near the level of media attention and spotlight she does
Since Angel is taking a step back this offseason to focus on herself, I thinks it’s a good time to drop this gem. The more you actually look at Angel Reese’s numbers, the more ridiculous this entire SUPERSTAR narrative really becomes. We’re talking about a player who’s essentially the WNBA version of Andre Drummond, since we’re love this NBA comparison thing so much. An ELITE rebounder, no one’s taking that. One of the best rebounders the league has ever seen. But outside of rebounding, what exactly are we celebrating here? You cannot point to one single thing. A post player shooting 51% TRUE SHOOTING despite taking the overwhelming majority of her shots around the basket. For context, that’s ABYSMAL, anyone else wouldn’t see the floor with that. UNPLAYABLE. An 18% turnover rate from someone who isn’t even responsible for running an offense. We’re watching a player struggle with some of the most BASIC aspects of offensive basketball, yet somehow she’s being marketed and discussed as one of the premier talents in women’s basketball. Her game is a CONFLICT OF INTEREST. If you stripped away the celebrity, the social media following, and the manufactured superstar narrative, nobody would even be having these conversations. Angel Reese is an elite rebounder with significant offensive limitations. That’s not hate. That’s an evaluation. The gap between the player Angel Reese ACTUALLY is and the player her supporters desperately want everyone to believe she is might be the biggest disconnect in the entire WNBA.

So not only is Brand a disgusting human being, so is his defence lawyer How do you think or say things like this and live with yourself
Russell Brand’s lawyer said in his closing statement that none of the complainants ā€œresisted or screamed or even tried to leaveā€. He also said that the fifth woman, who alleged she had been anally raped, ā€œdidn’t roll over, or kick out, or try to stop him in any way from penetrating her anusā€. I've heard many survivors say that they froze.

If she takes the time to actual develop her offensive game and ability to shoot at a better % she’ll be a really good player. But that’s not what she’s doing, she just can’t handle the heat so is ducking it for as long as she can
Angel Reese is taking a step back this offseason to focus on herself, announcing that she won’t be recording new episodes of her podcast over the next six months. In a message to fans on IG, Reese said she plans to make Florida her home base, where she’ll rest, work out, build her personal brand and spend time with her partner. She added that fans can still expect occasional vlogs on YouTube. šŸ“· IG: @ / barbieeearchive

Just remember, if you criticize Angel Reese, you’re a racist. It couldn’t possibly be her bad attitude, sense of entitlement, victim mentality or poor performances. You’re just a racist.
She deserve all the backlash she is getting right now. She’s the most unlikable person I have ever seen in professional sports. I am extremely happy that she lost.
