🔢 A number of Hibs players have spoken about Marink Reedijk trying to find their ideal position on the pitch. But what is the Dutchman's view on that process? "At the end of the day, we look from the side and we don't know how it feels on the pitch. "So we also need to grasp how it feels on the pitch, by talking to them about this – but also what moves them at this moment in time. "It's a constant understanding of where they are, who they are. This helps in the process of getting closer to this way. "But saying things and doing things are different sometimes. "This is also a good time to see who are the ones who can do this, and put words into action, and who will struggle at this moment, and how can we help them to make sure that they can put the words into action." ✍️ @jackhwrites hibsobserver.co.uk/news/2666…

Azeem Abdulai was a surprise inclusion to the starting XI against Falkirk, joining Josh Mulligan and Miguel Chaiwa in the Hibs engine room. 🔎 'Abdulai's error before the opening goal will inevitably attract scrutiny. Yet the sequence also revealed what Hibs were trying to create. 'Had he controlled Chaiwa's pass, Klidje, Boyle and Elding were all positioned to attack a retreating defence. 'Instead, the ball rolled under his foot. Ryan Strain surged forward, released Jacob Murrell, and Falkirk were ahead. 'Several things went wrong in the move. Marko Ivezić reacted slowly, while Mayor's advanced position left little cover on the left. The turnover may have been Abdulai's mistake, but it exposed wider fragility. 'Caution is required before drawing firm conclusions. A handful of appearances and just one start tell us very little about Abdulai as a player.' ✍️ @9125analysis looks at Abdulai's role on Saturday, and what it tells us about Marink Reedijk's intended style of play. hibsobserver.co.uk/tactics/2…

Against Falkirk, Hibs enjoyed possession, pushed players forward and occasionally produced the combinations Marink Reedijk is looking for. Too often, though, they looked uncertain. ✍️ @9125analysis on the recurring tactical issue that hampered Hibs ⬇️ hibsobserver.co.uk/tactics/2…
