We’re working hard on that last 20% to ensure more men take up screening.

She works for Greater Manchester Aneurysm screening programme and had a relative who sadly died from a ruptured aneurysm.
She’s keen that all men aged 65 accept the invitation for a free scan.
When the aorta reaches 5.5cm, men are referred to vascular surgery.
