Kurt's recap of the unfortunate loss: Fatigued #NJDevils Fall 5-2 to Avalanche allaboutthejersey.com/devils…

Brown gets his second though. Good game for him.

Again, not saying Keefe is doing a bad job this year. But there's something to be said about not leaving your goalies out to dry.

I think we're at the point where if, Colorado gets one more, Poirier should just finish the game. Can't let Allen see 50 shots here.

Not even dissing the Devs here, but they're too gassed to play this game. 3-1 now.

Kadri scores. That's probably game.

Well,

Goes without saying that the Devils' fate this game is probably being decided in the first 90 seconds of the third period.

Now a 5v3. Colorado a bit undisciplined on the PK

I didn't feel like that was a penalty on O'Connor, but they've missed a few

Bah, tie game. PK got too greedy at the end

Cody Glass is a warrior, holy Feels like he has three of those blocks a night

Jake Allen is popping off tonight...very thankful for that right now.

The Avs are playing really well tonight, so the Devils are going to have to sharpen up with the long change next period. There have been a few oof passes from the d-zone, maybe getting a little too greedy sometimes. But nothing horrific.

Never fear, for Connor Brown will just bank the puck off Makar past Blackwood! Might have taken too long to make the two-on-one work, but it goes in their favor.
