I really don’t like how some of you are framing our demand for the Veep to speak on the ongoing sexual harassment allegations as though we’re asking her to speak simply because she’s a woman. She occupies the second highest office in the country. That alone makes her voice important. And this is a woman who campaigned under the “Obaatan” tag,positioning herself as a voice for women. So please,let us demand accountability from the very people we expect to stand up for us. Her silence is loud,and we have every right to question it.
