Great fall with Acton-Boxborough. Got some great reps. Looking forward to getting after it this fall and winter. Here are some hits from the fall.

Notice George Springer go back and tag up on a no doubt HR. No reason to be off 3B on a fly ball to the OF with less than 2 outs, no matter how deep the ball is.

Announcement: I informed our team this morning that I will be stepping down as the head baseball coach at Acton-Boxborough. As my players have always known, family comes first.

I am also thankful I was able to coach the game and run our program in the manner I felt was best, with the full support of my ADs. The future of AB baseball is bright and there will be no bigger fan than me. Go get ‘em boys!…and always play with P.R.1.D.E. Coach Grucela

There is a big difference between being the best player and making us the best team. Winners elevate the people around them. Egos don’t. Real greatness isn’t about you. It’s about what happens because of you.
