projects in @cursor_ai are
▦ addicting
▦ insanely good
▦ dead simple to set up
shipping a new macOS app later today that scratches an itch i've had for a while
i've built a lot of internal tools, but CSVs still reign supreme for many ops workflows.
yet, opening them feels like a massive chore:
- excel is overkill for quick edits
- google sheets takes 6+ clicks to import a CSV
- apple numbers isn't intuitive and can't save to my original CSV
honestly, i mostly use finder's built-in preview, but often i need to make small changes to the file.
so i finally shipped my latest pet project, Cells, a free, native macOS app:
- open a 1GB CSV in milliseconds (see the video!)
- saves back to your original CSV file (no exporting!)
- edit CSVs like a spreadsheet: drag to fill, ⌘D, smart paste, etc
check it out and lmk what you think: cells-app.com

kind of crazy that you can just build things in a few hours to scratch your own itch, this is part of my growing portfolio of personal software:

Replying to @ABTapper
so I built this small app called "ports" to keep track everything for me
- lightweight and lives in the mac menu
- lists all dev processes w/ port number
- buttons to open in browser, jump to terminal tab, or kill the process
sharing it in case it's helpful for you (100% free)

LIVE: Watch 3 SpaceXAI employees attempt to build a company in 3 days with Grok Bot. This is Day 1.
Matt Palmer (@mattyp), Lauren Tan (@poteto), and Roshan Sadanani (@roshan_s) will set out to build a business from scratch, starting with market research, developing a business plan, and building an MVP product.
PLUS: Live sessions on Grok Bot use cases for Engineering, for Product Managers, and for Founders.

There's a new version of this post
After hearing Elon speak recently, the only way I could describe him was “from the future.”
But not in the traditional time traveling sense.
More like, he’s *constantly* thinking about life 5, 20, 50 years from now, that he has to travel back to our present timeline to explain things.
first we had chat
then we had copilots
now we have bots
working alongside intelligent, capable, truth-seeking digital colleagues is a revalation
try grok bot today!
Grok Bot for Enterprise is available today.
It’s free for all Grok and Cursor enterprise customers for the next two weeks.

Besides github being down (again), my unironic favorite part of origin/review is clicking links on my PR automatically open in a new tab...
Building AI to accelerate human scientific discovery, understand the universe, and make humanity multiplanetary.
Great guide from @n2parko with some alpha on using Grok Bot for PMs, but these strategies work well for many other roles too
- attention list
- agent 2 agent delegation
- parallel work via cloud agents
Could not be more excited for what’s next 🚀
Cursor is now part of @SpaceX.
Today, we have officially closed our acquisition. We will join the @spacexai team to help make Grok the world's most useful AI and improve Grok Build, Grok Bot, Grok API, Cursor, and more.
SpaceX has built some of the most inspiring and impressive technology in the world, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to become part of such a special company. Onwards.
