I'm a craftsman specializing in 15th-16th century cold arms, mostly from the area of the HRE. Also, apparently I like directing photoshoots.

As a bit of a rest from the repousse, I finished the blunt Messer from my prototype batch. From the sharp, both the Messer and the longsword remains to be done still. Overall lengths between 1010 and 1050 mm.

Take your bets how many attempts will it take me to do the design justice in metal. I'm thinking 3-4.

Progress on the front of the mouth of the scabbard. It'll be a long while. We'll see if I can clean up the face - I'll need to make some new, extremely small tools and probably wear magnifying glasses.

We had a shoot with Csilla and a local photographer this Tuesday. It'll be a moment before the selected and processed photos make it to Patreon, but the raw ones are already up in the shop. patreon.com/posts/172464739

Blunt prototype done, next up is the sharp... I have no idea when. It's a rather short piece at 105cm overall - I really like this size range, but it's kinda underrepresented on the modern market, especially in blunts.

Repoussed grip inserts for my "Death and the maiden" riff on a Sumersperger Bauernwehr. Fun. Next update on the project likely close to, but before the heat death of the universe. I have no delusions about it ever selling, so it's a very low priority project.

As the "dressed only in suspension" photos seem to make the rounds again (thanks, @Wass_Nonnam ), here's a couple where I gave free rein to Vivi and the photographer to play around with the idea a bit.
